Anything but pass....

Absolutely. It's a pretty stark difference. But I'm just rolling with it. I feel like fretting over it will only kill my happy and there's really nothing we can do about it. Embrace it. :) and congrats on the loss!

Same here! I live in Woburn!

When I'm bulking, I'll have a side of wings with it and polish off a 2 liter of Diet Coke without even flinching

The scale shouldn't be your goal. If you're losing inches, you're doing great. Keep up whatever you're doing!

Switch from salsa to pico de gallo and you'll have an even healthier option

I'm constantly over my sugar goals. Don't sweat it too much. If your calories, proteins, carbs, and fats are on point, let the rest just be general guidelines.

The best thing I did was to give up coffee with all the stuff in it and switch to tea with a single Splenda. I get the caffeine. A bit of hydration. Tasty. And a solid hot drink for the morning that you're used to.

I'd love to make more friends!!

I do this a lot, as well!! Also, the ziplock steam bags are incredible. I strongly recommend them. And anything I can rock in a crockpot. Also, this takes about 30 and is DELICIOUS. http://allrecipes.com/recipe/simple-turkey-chili/?mxt=t06dda

You're welcome to see my diary! I'm always up for a friend to keep me accountable.

Your definition of healthy includes sticking to lean, white, meats. That's not everyone's definition of healthy. I happen to think eating salmon, mackerel, steak, lamb, avocado, almonds, etc is perfectly healthy. This is an inherent problem with trying to "eat healthy". There is no definition of what "healthy" is. I also…

As far as the low protein, you can add whey to your shredded wheat in the morning. Use greek yogurt instead of mayo in your chicken/tuna salads. That will make a world of difference in your macros. If you're going way over on carbs, maybe find a new snack to cut the fruit carbs down. I love doing veggies with ranch dip…

I think if you're seeing results, you should ignore the scale. The number on the scale can mess with your head. Your ultimate goal should be to smile when you look in the mirror. If you're losing fat, toning, and seeing improvement, ignore the scale for a bit. Enjoy the progress you SEE.

I had been losing steam/motivation over the last 2 weeks or so. This thread has reignited that. Thanks, folks. You all look fantastic.

Right next to the "hot or not" board

I turn 30 in September, as well!! Feel free to add. :)

Watched it for about 10 minutes once. It's like watching an infomercial.

I agree. But I think the best thing about these proceedings is the light being shone on the sham that is diet pills and weight loss "miracle" products.

Those were my same stats till I hit 25 or so. Then BAM!!! Hit me like a truck full of twinkies...

^^This. C'mon, Max. That's flirting 101.

Same here. I could eat anything and everything I wanted and never gain a pound.... till my knees and hips blew out and I couldn't run anymore. I was TOO SKINNY for a long time. Now I'm here and fighting to lose the gained weight.

This is so fitting for the post... ridiculous, confusing... makes my brain hurt.
