oooo I just want to bite your arm hairs off! (p.s. I have not very hairy blond arm hair)

Could be bursitis? My daughter developed that this spring. Dr. said that you might just land wrong and that can bring it on. Painful, but she was just told to really stretch her hips well (like 15 minutes 3X a day) Alieve and ice. She was doing track and working on dance tryouts. Went away after she had a week off from…

I think there is a D. He's hoping that you'll both get to enjoy your reaction to the film.

Been there! Yes, if you will stick to the changes keep working to replace the bad old habit (i.e. emotional eating) with a walk you will start to see the payoff and improved mood too. No, it won't always work and some days you'll fall into old habits, but if you don't feel better after a walk, run, swim, find a different…

Just remember, a little more every day. It will get easier and you'll begin to feel better and better. And don't beat yourself up along the way, it took you years to get here, it will take some time, just a change at a time. Find some good positive supporters on line and in life and lean all you need to! You can do this.

I have a guy to set you up with. He's let himself go too.

Well, you could try to plan your meals in advance and pre enter things first thing, then only modify if things change-if you're pretty organized this might work for you. I teach and despite my best plans can never quite get there organizationally... so I enter breakfast and workout before I leave, then take a minute at the…

Perfect for the hot days of summer.

Awesome! Wish I had remembered my pedometer to know my own numbers. I too lost weight on my Disney vacation with all that walking it's easy to see why.

Warm water is good for digestion, and stimulating movements if your stopped up, but you burn a fraction more calorie-wise if it's ice water. I say drink it any way that help you get it down!

Read an article that made two points-1 if you always do this it is a habit, one takes a while to break. It also suggested your body is really craving something else-here is their list What you might be missing what to eat Chromium Broccoli, grapes, cheese, dried beans, calves liver, chicken Carbon Fresh fruits Phosphorus…

You may not need to eat all your exercise calories back, but if you aren't careful you put the body in starvation mode-then it hangs on to the weight you have for dear life-if you are working hard add a couple of extra snacks, but let your body say whether or not you need to eat the full amount. And make sure it's energy,…

Awesome! Way to be.

excellent progress

Sounds like you need someone to be accountable to? When my workout desire wains, my workout buds force me out of bed; I don't want to let them down. Especially good when you're doing everything right, and nothing seems to be changing.

I agree about finding the gym boring! When the weather is fine I'm all about the outdoors. Do you ever do intensity intervals? That and varying the routes is plenty of good cardio.

I always go over fiber too. Usually people track fiber because they aren't aren't getting enough. Way to be ahead on a healthy note!

Why not try a shorter workout until you get used to it? Sounds like you really need the sleep or your body is really in this pattern, so easing into the change might be best. Have a short routine in mind-say a 10 minute circuit training and get up just 15 minutes early. After a few days, plan 30 minutes, etc. That's how I…

Congratulations, you look great. Keep up the good work-it's soooo worth it.

Sounds great-can't wait to try it.

This looks great! I can't wait to try it.

ice ice ice. My daughter suffers from them. PT and coaches only limited her running in that they didn't have her run stairs. We iced several times a day until they were under control. She has since become proactive-after an intense practice she ices and has not had any shin splits for a while now.

A recent study actually supports that 2 cups a coffee a day helps women's memory. It does not have the same effect on men, however. Does that mean you should have it? Personal call. I love my coffee and as that is my one real vice, I'm not giving it up.

Been there, done that. Hope you find your motivation here. The members are great, especially if you're having a tough day-or have hit a frustration point. Remember to just take things a day at a time, and that you are worth the time.
