I recently made the decision to stop weighing myself too. I found myself getting too obsessed with the number and getting disappointed when it didn't go the way I wanted it too. My only goals right now are to eat healthy, exercise regularly, log everything, and occasionally do measurements. I'm trying to focus on how I'm…

TurboJam and TurboFire are the only workouts I do now. I love them. I started at 180 pounds and I am now at 131 pounds. My first goal weight is to be 125, but my ultimate goal weight is to be 120. I've tried losing weight several times, but I could never find a workout I actually liked doing until TurboJam and TurboFire.…

I can completely relate to this. I am 22 and I get told I look like I'm 13. It can get very frustrating sometimes, but over the years it'll become a good thing to look younger.

I've lost 46 pounds now and I have been having a problem with loose skin lately. I actually talked to my doctor about it who said that everybody is different, but skin should bounce back. It's just going to take time after losing the weight.

Thank you! I'll try that! :)

I don't run very often, but when I was looking for some good workout music I found some good playlists on shape.com. They have a lot of different playlists for all kinds of workouts. :)

Thank you. Yeah Coumadin is something I am going to be on for the rest of my life.
-
I've been on Coumadin for three years and I have had some of the same problems keeping my INR where the doctors want it to be. Before my problems, I ate lots and lots of food with vitamin K so it has been a big struggle trying to change my diet. In the hospital I definitely didn't have an appetite at all. They struggled…

that's a good way of looking at it. I just tell myself that if i just sit on the couch I will go back to my old ways. That's usually enough to get me to work out. haha

thanks for the advice! I will have to ask around my area to see if anybody has one. :)

Unfortunately I know how you feel. I have had depression for a couple years. Just exercising alone helps me with my depression and makes me feel better; along with eating better foods like fruits and vegetables. I've found that when I get really depressed talking to friends I trust or going for a walk helps a lot too. Good…

These are some great responses. I get comments from family members almost constantly so I'm definitely going to take some of your suggestions. Thanks for all the replies :)

that's very true.

That's a good response too lol

I bought my zumba dvds, but a lot of times when I'm searching for a cheaper workout to do I will check amazon and ebay. There are probably other websites you can check too. I just bought a few work out dvds from there a couple weeks ago and they were cheap and in great shape.

My family will do that too sometimes. I have certain family members who pick out everything I eat that is bad and I have other family members that tell me I need to eat more.
-
I absolutely hate getting comments like this. Whenever I spend time with my family I'm constantly getting comments like, "are you supposed to be eating that?" or "how many calories have you had today?" The second I eat something that's not 100 percent healthy I get a comment about whether I'm supposed to be eating that. I…

anyone else have any ideas for me?

I think I found this actually like a few minutes before I read this. I've only watched one of her videos, but it looks really good. I'm going to have to try it. Thank you! I didn't know about youtube workout videos because I've never looked them up before.

I just got one for Christmas too and have absolutely no friends yet. www.fitbit.com/user/29LTNB

I have the same problem when it comes to working out. Being a student I don't really have a lot of money to go to a gym or get a trainer. I wanted to lose weight and get in shape. What I do is find DVD workouts. I have bought zumba, turbo jam, and tae bo. I usually find cheaper versions of the DVDs on amazon or something…

This actually happened to me when I was in high school. I was at work and one of my coworkers was in her 20s or 30s and she was pregnant. A customer came in and asked me if I was pregnant too. I was shocked and just replied a no and walked away. When I told my friends they just tried to make me feel better about it by…

I deal with the same thing and I always crave something with sugar , but I learned not to completely cut out foods that you love otherwise you will end up overeating it later. If I want cookies or hot chocolate, then I have it. I make sure to have a small amount and I make sure I don't go over my calories. If there's a…

I know exactly how you feel because in the past I have always fallen back into an unhealthy lifestyle too, but over the summer I decided to change all that and lose weight and keep it off. It takes a lot of hard work, but it's definitely worth it. Good luck to you. :)

I'm really glad there's someone I can relate to on here! I don't have any friends or know anyone else in my life who can really relate to what I'm trying to do. :)
