Green Tea is always the safest as far as i know. I just also bought Weightless Tea, from the brand Traditional Medicinals, it gives off a little nasea after, but i drink it once in a while, when i'm feeling extra full, and need to clean myself out.

The only way i have ever tried a colon cleanse is a home remedy my aunt told me about. Take 4 glasses of lukewarm water, and mix in 2 teaspoons of non iodized sea salt. Drink it all within about 30 minutes if posssible. ( i drink it in about 10 minutes) then literally from 15 minutes to 60 minutes later you will be in the…

Yeah it's hard to say no. But it's also said if you crave something then satisfy it. Like if i want a slice of pizza, i'll have half, then chug down a lot of water so i feel full. I went to a buffet today in a casino. Usually i would eat 3 plates + dessert. But now i only ate one. I was writing down what i was eating and…

I ate a half a serving of chicken teriyaki with white rice and veggies that you get at the mall (Sarku Japan), but i always get it no sauce. The menu says calorie wise its only 130 calories. When i search it on MFP, i don't find anything quite like it, the one i did had like 620 mg sodium. I would like to input my own…

Well for me at least. I've gotten comfortable eating about 600 calories per day. And everyday i lose 1/2 a pound. Don't get me wrong, this may not be suitable for everyone. But i'm feeling great.

I 've been doing great since joining MFP, losing an average of 1.2 lbs per week. Monday i weighed in at 163.5, and today Friday i still weigh the same. I've been eating less and healthier than ever. My dad said he heard this happens, sometimes the body just gives up for a week.

Try to chug down as much water as possible until you feel full. Always works for me.

Well if this is for the July 4th challenge. When i started i was 168.5 and now 2 weeks later i lost 5 lbs. It is such a great feeling to try on smaller clothes and just feel better. A while back i remember hearing on one of those exercise shows that you burn a lot of calories by just trying on clothes while shopping. But i don't remember what the amount was for say an hour or so. Any ideas anyone. I try to go shopping a lot, not just to spend money, but that is a great exercise for me cause you don't…

Watching calories is great, but don't forget about carbs, fat and sodium. Your calories could be at a great point, but once the others go over, it takes a toll on your whole day.
-
I think the maximum reccommended sodium intake is 3000 per day. And if you cook, use Non-Iodized Sea Salt. Its better than regular salt, because it passes throught the body, where as salt just stays in your body to a point.
-
I would say the first week is kind of hard. But after you see totals of what you are eating, you learn how to eat smaller portions and make better choices.

Hmmm sounds like fun. Original Weight: 181 Current Weight: 168.5 4th Goal: 145 End Goal: 140 (hey i can't afford to lose the size of my boobs or *kitten*) hahahahaa Good Luck to All

Welcome!!! This is a great site, it will really help you. Just remember portion control and exercise.

Welcome and good luck. Those desk jobs really do you in. I was working at a real estate for a year. It was an office of 50 agents. I would bring my lunch everyday, but of course someone would pass by, say they are hungry, and i gave in!!!!!!
-
As you start filling in what you eat, and then look at the totals at the end of the day, you start seeing what you should cut out. For me, i watch the calories, but also its portion control. I used to eat like a six piece buffalo wing meal, but now ill have 1 just to satisfy myself. And i try not to eat after 6pm. Also if…

It's ok, we can't deprive ourselves wither. They say if you have a craving, satisfy it. Not a whole plate, even a few bites just to satisfy yourself.
-
Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!! It's a great feeling isn't it. Before i started with MFP website, i lost 11 lbs from being sick, and fitting into a size smaller jean, is the greatest. Just wait till you go shopping, it'll be fabulous. Keep it up.

Wow what a great website. It's so easy to track what foods i eat, and the exercises i do. I was actually sick and bedridden for a month and lost my apetite. In the first 20 days i lost 11 lbs. It's a nice feeling trying on clothes now. So this gave me the push to keep going. Good Luck to all!!!
