Hello there, My name is Olivia, Livie for short. I joined here a year ago and was an avid user the first few months, fell off, got back on, and am giving myself a fresh start. One of the great things about this place is I had an opportunity to meet another user just as geeky as I was! Your post is AMAZING! Friend away,…

Livie, and 28 here. Let's do this!

@Farmer's_Daughter - I think that's the perfect phrase for me, hungry hippo. Even if I stock the house with all healthy things, I mean honestly how many apples, trail mix combinations, and oranges can a woman eat? What is in there, a vortex that opens once a month or something? It is a vortex that so fails, my tummy and…

I'm in, let's do this!! June 1st: 271 - up from my 261 loss, not all of that is TOM! ::prepares to stab at the fat, to keeeel it:: HAHAHAHA

It takes time! I joined in February this year and had lost 18 lbs up until recently and gained 9 back, some of that I know is due to that time of month, but not all of it! At least we're in the right place, yeah? Give it an ease back in. Start by drinking that extra glass of water over soda, adding in more fruits and…

I've found the Nuvaring doesn't make you gain any weight in my personal experience on it, where as with birth control pills I experienced a weight gain it seemed even for being on something like Ortha Trycyclin in the low dose formula. Since it is just us girls here, it also seems to regulate TOM, shorten it, and I haven't…

If I can I want to get in on this, I'd lost 18 lbs to start and I know some of that has crept back on! Want to lose at least 60-80!

You can do it!

I can only imagine with the loss/gains over the years when I finally lose weight I am sure it'll be stretch mark city, but you know what I have found is helping it a bit is yoga/pilates. The whole long/lean muscle thing is really making my legs, still chubby, even out alright. Otherwise I am not sure. Do you still have fat…

I am from here in California but I am definetly on a 70+ overall mission that I break down in to mini goals and larger goal incriments, add me if you'd like!

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! You seem to be off to a good start with 30DS and the treadmill. Do you have any pilates or yoga DVDs? You'll be suprised with how well you will tone up, but in such a slenderizing way, your balance will increase, core strength will be awesome and that core will also look awesome!

Hi there -when I was a regular gym attendant I found that yes, elipticals were much better for a person with knee problems (as I have had in the past from old child hood injuries, dance injuries etc) and because of that I was able to vary my workouts on them, do intervals, and generally able to go on them longer. Even if…

Friday I didn't log in any excersise, boo. I needed the day to give myself a break after feeling like such crap Thursday PM, and Friday AM/PM was pretty tired. Today seems better so I will definetly have to see what I can do!

Thursday: 20 mins of Wii Fit in the AM (Yoga, Aerobics, Balance Games. I do it more for stretching and just for the fun of it now ^.~ I also think that even 10 minutes of it in the morning is really good so I'd say if anyone has one, try it every day or every other day for a little and sneak in some extra work out time…

Welcome! You seem like a talented, creative person if you are in a Rogers and Hammerstein musical like Oklahoma! First off, rejoice in what you are good at, and make sure you always give yourself praise for those things. I can see three already: You dance, sing, and act! Triple threat! You look beautiful. There's four!…

Go Smiles, get your Zumba! Go Smiles, get your Zumba! I may add a little extra to my workout routine tonight as well. Our kitchen is no use (again, see profile update and our adventures in this old house) so we can't get to fridge, or micro, or any such useful thing so we're ordering out. >.> <.< I will be walking my dogs,…

Count me in! It looks like everyone is off to a good start, so here was my Monday! Walking @ moderate pace for 20 minutes (my dogs had many a tangled leash debaucle, like they forgot how to walk!) Zumba beginning level class for 20 minutes on PS3 Total Calories burned - 415 The five day challenge is a good idea. I've made…

Don't be hard on yourself! It sounds like you have a lot of demands on your time, life, and sense of being! Climb your hills and if you get disappointed, don't be afraid to just vent about it. Write it in a journal, maybe you could find write some ideas for those late night shifts for healthy eating or snacking. Also don't…
