I do build the exercise into the "eat back", I have found my body likes its calories, and being diabetic, I have discovered to really cut back makes me tired and lethargic.

Hello! Im 5' .05", and I eat 1400-1600 cals a day, and I also exercise around 400 cals worth, I have lost 50 lbs with diet and exercise, and occaisonally, I do have a cheat day to keep myself sane, but have the determination to go back to the plan, I weigh 143 lbs, 20 to go! Good luck, it is very doable.

Hello, I am 48, no little kids anymore, but yes, it gets harder as we age because of menopause, shrinking muscle mass and slower metabolism, we are behind the 8 ball it seems sometimes! zevia soda is good; it does have a bit of the ":aftertaste" of super-sweetened drinks; the only danger with the Stevia-sweetened is that caramel color(cancer risk!).

I take a whole foods supplement and 10,000 i.u. of vitamin D, with extra selenium, zinc, and magnesium, I don't know if it's a placebo, but I have more energy, and feel fairly stable. Not ever to replace a good diet, I try and eat healthily, but it can be a daily battle.

try using avocado instead of mayo..high in natural 'good' fats, some chopped raw bell peppers and cucumbers or pickles mixed in is yummy too..possibilities galore..enjoy experimenting! Tuna melts are great too!

Ive lost 16 lbs on 100 mg seroquel daily..I guess everyone is individual. I am bipolar as well. I have been walking and stationary biking,and sticking to the calorie guidelines on my MFP goal suggestions. Good Luck!

How about a recumbent bike? easy on the joints, and you can put as much or as little effort to suit your needs, especially being asthmatic

Hi, I take Levothyroxine for hypothyroidism, and latuda for Bipolar, my goal is to to lose 70 more pounds, I've lost 10. Its very doable, I just have to watch my calories and exercise , and the weight has been steadily coming off at a pound a week. Good Luck!
