26 lbs is great progress! You should be proud of yourself, you've already achieved 1/4 of your total goal. If it helps, it took me about a year and a half to lose 100 lbs. It definitely didn't melt away, but slowly I got there. Keep at it, you'll get there eventually

I've lost 33.8% of my starting body weight so far, hoping to end up at about 40%

I could use some new active friends :) I've been using MFP for a while, took a bit of a break after losing 100 lbs. I maintained my weight during that time and now I'm back to drop another 20-30 lbs.

And...... 102lbs so far. That certainly puts it in perspective!

I started bringing my lunch to work every day instead of eating out. Super simple, but that's what really started it all....

Always looking for new friends :)

There's no way that you've put on 3 lbs of fat in that amount of time. My guess is that it's probably your diet over the weekend. Too much sodium and you can easily pack on a couple pounds of water weight. Of course, there are also many other possibilities, TOM, change in activity levels, ect. Give it some time and it…

Welcome! Anyone can feel free to add me. I've lost 85 lbs so far and have at least another 40 or so to go. I log every day and try to interact with my friends as much as possible, you can never have too much support!

Hello and welcome back! :) Anyone can add me if they'd like, I've lost 85 lbs so far and have another 40 or so to go. I log every day and try to be as active as I can on this site.

Welcome back! Sounds like you've had a rough time, I'm glad you're able to start getting back into the swing of thing again, though. Feel free to add me. I log every day and try to keep up with everyone on my friends list.

I hear you, it's very humid in the Summer where I'm at. I think you have a few options: 1. Exercise in your house. There are a ton of things you can do in your living room to get your exercise in. Look into exercise DVDs, invest in some weights/resistance bands, or even just jogging/walking in place is better than nothing.…

"You're so pretty for a big girl" - hate that one.

I take it a day at a time. Thinking about my long term goals and how long it will take me seems overwhelming, so each day when I wake up I just tell myself, I'm going to do this all the way for this one day. And now I've come so far that I'm motivated simply by the fact that I don't want to lose any of the progress I've…

I can relate to this. It took me a long time to figure out what worked for me. I work full time and I have 3 kids ages 7, 4, and 10 months. I wake up at 5:30 just to be able to get the kids to the sitter and get to work on time and then I'm usually not home until 5:30 or 6 at night. I've learned to fit exercise in wherever…

You might as well settle in for a long ride because this sort of thing will probably happen to you many times over the course of your weight loss. I started at nearly the same weight that you did and I can tell you that on a good week I average a loss of 2 lbs- which is fantastic in my book! However, I've gone as long as 3…

You can eat whatever you want. The trick to weight loss is taking in fewer calories than your body burns in a day. Without knowing your current weight and height it's impossible to tell you how many calories a day that is, but if you accurately input that information into MFP along with your goals, it should spit out a…

Pick me! I'm 28, SW 307, CW 231, GW 180 (for now). And I'm a nurse!! :) I'm always on here and I love having new friends!

Eat fewer calories than your body requires to maintain your current weight. That's it, no exercise required.

I'm not new, but I'm always looking for new friends :) I log daily and try to respond to as many of my friends as I can on a regular basis.

I'm not on an Atkin's diet, but I usually drink the Atkin's shakes most mornings for breakfast. I've tried several brands of shakes and the Atkin's kind seem to keep me feeling full longer. I'm usually very busy in the mornings so I like things I can grab and go.
