I'm a bit younger than most of you, however i am 5'3" and want to lose at least 100 pounds. Any of you looking for another pal, you can add me :)

i've heard this as well. i've also heard that if you exercise before bed you burn more calories/your metabolism breaks down your food from the day faster in your sleep. Never known if it was completely true, but i have heard it before.

Absolutely amazing.... you are truly an inspiring man.

Congratulations! :) i can't wait to say i've made that big of a difference.

i've been having the same problem.. I've even put on two pounds, i can't figure out what i'm doing wrong.

i took a pill (can't remember the brand) a few years ago for reasons other then dieting, but they were known as a dietary supplement, and literally it messed up my stomach so bad. I missed school and everything from them because i couldn't be away from a toilet for more then 15 minutes at a time. Super embarrassing, but…

Do anything that doesn't involve leg work. I'd suggest lifting some weights, or if you go to a gym do some upper body strength. If you can swim, that's a beautiful exercise as well. You could also do sit ups/crunches or pull ups. Any upper body exercises would be great. Just don't over do it! Slowly work into getting back…

i get severe migrains quite often, and have to take medication for them - but i notice them happening often when i workout or don't eat enough.

i'm definitely on the park as far away as possible rout. I do it everywhere i go! it's nice for me because even if i don't get a set workout that day i still get a little exercise by walking the distances to and from places. I also try to carry something with me at all times. Whether its a bag, or a water bottle, or my cat…

Been struggling with my weight since i was a little girl. i as well have a long ways to go, but the little that i have lost i can feel a difference in my energy level as well as my overall health. Good luck on your journey (:

Last year, i found it rewarding to slice my food up into small pieces so that it took me longer to eat as well as it looked/felt like i was eating more. My mind was telling my stomach that i was fuller sooner. I also realized that taking one helping of pie is still satisfying my taste buds and i don't need to go for…

Beautiful. <3 Keep going girl!

i definitely think the way you're doing it is dangerous. You shouldn't be scared to eat. If you lower yourself to that few calories, you may lose the weight you want, but you'll find that you'll either develop a severe eating disorder, or you'll go back to eating the way you were before and you'll put the weight back on.…

Sodium used to always be a problem for me. I'm still very young and i have severe blood pressure readings, my doctor has threatened to put me on lifelong medication if i don't cut out my sodium. i also get pressure in my lower abdomen when i eat too much salt. it's also very bad for your heart - you're at risk of heart…

The most i've been able to do is 200. I'll try for 250 today (:

You recognized your mistake, which means you're progressing even if you don't feel like it. We all make mistakes, and i know i eat bad sometimes too. Just keep a good attitute and don't give up! :)

Honestly, 11 pounds is fantastic! i too tend to crave junk food often. I had a thought though that the food i love to eat is bad for me, and the only reason i like eating it is because it leaves a good taste in my mouth for about a minute vs. the foods i hate leave me with a bad taste. But if those foods are doing my body…

i'm always here for support, good luck on your journey :)

i have this same problem - the fruit is what over does it for me. Not sure how to fix that though.
-
WOW good job! :)

i congratulate you on wanting to make a change, and i think if you really want this, you're going to achieve it. I have also struggled with weight most of my life. Never give up, because good things come to people that try. It won't be easy, in fact it's going to be difficult. But every pound lost is a great…

i'd say anywhere from 400-600 calories per hour depending on how vigorous you're doing it. That's my guess.
