I have been attempting to loose weight on and off my entire life, yet have never really been able to have a lasting change. I have lost 80lbs prior only to gain 50 of them back. I am attempting to do it this time the right way through diet and exercise. Well this is a slow process lol, so far I have lost 11lbs. It has been about a month now, not sure if that is good or bad, but its what I have been able to accomplish, and I feel as proud as I think I would if I lost 100. I know I did it the healthy way, making small changes I think I will be able to live with.
My next goal will be to increase my exercise more to hopefully increase my weight loss. I am happy that I am finally adjusting to the diet and am not starting all of the time. I am still craving junk food all of the time which is really hard, I am wondering if anyone has any tricks to help this.
I have to say one of my greatest accomplishments, or maybe the one that I just feel the most proud of, is that I baked a lower calorie apple pie. Knowing myself I never even tryed it. I knew that once I had tasted it I just could not stay out of it, so I opted out. Kinda proud about that.
I just wanted to let all of my buddies that I am getting your messages, and really love them sooo much. I just cant find them to respond, I get them via email, not sure where to check them on here. Your thoughts and words of encouragement seem to come as I get discouraged, so thank you.

Honestly, 11 pounds is fantastic! i too tend to crave junk food often. I had a thought though that the food i love to eat is bad for me, and the only reason i like eating it is because it leaves a good taste in my mouth for about a minute vs. the foods i hate leave me with a bad taste. But if those foods are doing my body good, i can stand bad tastebuds for a few minutes or even pop in a piece of gum and know that i'm healthy by forcing myself to eat that stuff. But sometimes i just can't get rid of that craving and i opt for a healthy way to get the craving i'm wanting. Like a couple weeks ago i found chocolate cookies that are only 100 calories for a package - i get two of my favorite snacks, and it's healthy for you. I like that you found an alternative to pie as well Keep it up, i think you're doing incredible and you inspire me.0
