  • When I'm having a bad meltdown I have a new rule where I wait like 45 minutes and if I feel more crazy I just give in to the temptation. You have to take a step back and think, "okay, how often do I feel this desperate for junk food? Maybe once a week, or once every two weeks?" I no longer plan cheat meals or cheat days…
  • Started packing lunches for work! Only ate my groceries :) saved a ton of money which was double motivation!
  • Sorry to burst your bubble, these people clearly want to eat broccoli and quinoa and chia seeds and wheat grass......... If I got to eat what I wanted, and still stay close to my defecit calories, I would basically get like 1 scoop of ice cream, 6 fries, 2 cheese sticks, a slice of toast, and that would be my entire day…
  • I'm 5"2, 120 lbs, 35-28-36ish. OH and also a 32DD! Right there is an extra like 5 pounds!!! :(
  • I need to practice this more!!
  • Those little candy mints you get at the restaurant after your meal. They can be 100 calories!!! For like 1 minute of fame! And I usually grab a handful! Also ALL condiments, especially ketchup and mayo :( SO delicious and so bad... I eat broccoli and tofu for dinner and I add this Kraft Asian Sesame dressing, 1 tbsp is…
  • For me it doesn't seem to matter what I ate or didn't eat that day, when I get a craving for bad food, and after like half an hour of trying to fight it off, I will go WAY out of my way to get what I want!! Will walk to get the pizza, or to the cornerstore to get the chips/chocolate/candy/ice cream or go to a restaurant…
  • I don't think I'm built for running, but I still run 5k 3 times a week, I hit a PB yesterday, 28:25! Usually I am around 32 mins if I take it easy. I have short legs, big boobs, wide shoulders, I sweat and gasp for air like a fiend, I'm pretty sure people would hover around me with the AED if it was considered…
  • Right after work! 4:30pm And on weekends usually around noon, when my energy level is highest :)
  • I weigh myself naked every morning and log that, and I weigh myself at the gym before and after my workout to see how much water I lost and make a note to drink lots. The number flucctuates which is fine, mostly I feel really happy seeing my weight because I'm so close to my goal! It keeps me really motivated, to see a…
  • I'm pretty sure this has to do with dopamine levels. Running increases dopamine, which is the chemical that crashes when your brain needs to tell you you're hungry/craving things. It's the same with smoking, nicotine increases dopamine levels, which curbs your appetite. If running has this effect on you, consider yourself…
  • Thanks for understanding, it's great to hear someone knows how I am feeling :) and who has been there.
  • You are totally right, I should be noting my coffees with cream and sugar, and the details I figure don't matter, because they do... I will have to figure out exactly what I can consume to keep the deficit and not feel so restricted. It's worth it to me to look into it.
