I've started walking about 3 weeks ago. Not long, averaging 3 miles every morning. I've got a heel bursitis that flares up some days, which makes some walks painful. This post is encouraging to know walking can help in your weight loss.

I'm trying to lose close to 100 here. Just moved to a new state so looking to start a new fitness goal. Have slacked for 2 years and need to change.

Started Beta today. I think I'm in love...in a love/hate kinda way! Here's a question, I have to do my workout on the carpet and it's hard to do the twisting lunges on it. I can run into the kitchen where it is tile or just do it slower on the carpet so I don't tweak my knee. We live in a small Japanese apartment, so I can…

I'm finishing my final week in Alpha. I've only lost 2 lbs in 5 weeks, but around 11 inches throughout my body. It can get frustrating, but I suggest doing your measurements: chest, waist, hips, upper arm, thighs, calves.

Just started week 2. Love love love T25. Lost 3 lbs and 3 inches off waist alone. Holy bloat, Batman!

This show is great! I can see myself stuck on you tube for the next few days!

Just finished Day 3. Total Body Circuit is hell.

Turning 43 next week and starting T25 this week as a birthday gift to myself. Hopefully my aging knees and hip won't hate me for it. Feel free to add me. I need people to hold me accountable.

Just got it in the mail this weekend. Excited to start tomorrow, I'm sure the excitement will change to agony quickly.

I love La Croix lemon sparkling water. I thought it was the sugar in Coke that I loved but it was the carbonation. I would drink 3 cans of sparkling water, contained no calories or sodium. However, now I don't have La Croix here and I'm sad. Perrier is too expensive and not as good as La Croix.

Omg! It's times like these I miss living in the states. I guess that's good since I'd probably chow the entire box.

Feel free to add me!

I think half the people on my friends list are in the UK, seems my log in times coincides with theirs.

Wow Shinjuku! Tons to do. I live in Fussa-shi which is next Tachikawa.

This. I love looking at people's diaries because sometimes I need to remind myself that starving myself won't make the pounds come off and stay off.

Are you kidding me about Japanese desserts? Granted they don't over sugar their desserts like a lot of American sweets but most bakeries offer sweets more in the style of European bakeries using quality butter and sugar. You would take a Costco cake over this? To each their own I guess.

Also try Korean roasted corn tea (oksusu cha) or Corn silk tea. Not as bitter as regular leaf teas. http://darjapan.blogspot.jp/2012/07/corn-tea.html?m=1 http://www.livestrong.com/article/499075-corn-tea-health-benefits/

Just sent you a friend request. I'm 42, have a 7 year old, work part time as a base photographer. I live in Japan (husband is in USAF) which makes tracking food a wee bit difficult. -K

Homemade Hummus is not sour like store bought hummus. If they use too much citric acid it will taste bad. Sabras is the best store bought but when it's so easy to make just do it at home and play with flavors. Takes me 2 minutes to make a roasted red pepper hummus in my vitamix.

Is the Bodybugg waterproof? I don't own a bodybug but I do wear my Timex HRM in the water whether doing laps or aqua aerobics. I don't like depending on the generic numbers that are given in the exercise logs so I try to wear my monitor anytime I work out, even if it's just going for a walk.

I love Biochem Vanilla Whey, but it has 7 grams of sugar per serving. So.... I switched to Body Fortress Vanilla Whey, it only has 2 grams of protein BUT it has 22% of my daily cholesterol. :/ I like both of them but if someone has any recommendation on other great tasting, low sugar, low cholesterol vanilla whey protein…

By the way here is a picture of the hummus.

I do. I usually swim laps but currently have been asked to teach a water aerobics class which has cut into my regular swim time. I need to at least do one day of lap swimming and drills. Feel free to add me if you like.
