They are endless. Here is a basic for "Roasted Red Pepper Hummus"
1 bottle roasted red pepper (drain all the water)
2 cans garbanzo beans (chick peas) 1 can drained, save the liquid from the other
2 Tbsp Tahini
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 tsp cumin
couple cloves of garlic
Dump everything in (beans first) but save the bean liquid to the side. Blend it, using the reserved liquid to make it the consistency you want.
Make home made pita chips. Cut up whole wheat pitas into bite size pieces. Spray with Olive Oil. Sprinkle with a little garlic Salt. Bake at 400 degree oven for 10-13 minutes. Done
Also here is my go to Protein Shake. It is AWESOME. Like a Peanut Butter & Banana milkshake and tons of protein. Just watch that the whey protein you are using isn't high in sugar.
Serving of of your favorite vanilla whey protein
3/4 skim milk
1 small frozen and peeled banana
2 Tbsp PB2
1/4 cup of ice
Blend together until the consistency of a milkshake.0 -
By the way here is a picture of the hummus.0

I love my vitamix and use it every day. I usually only use it to make smoothies and my green juices. My fave smoothie is 1 scoop protein powder, half cup of strawberries and blueberries,1 or 2 cups spinach and blend...it is so yummy! Have fun getting creative with it!0
