Have added you as a friend, I'm looking for support too 😊

Also there should totally be a maintenance ticker!!!
-
Really inspiring stories here people - thank you! I have been maintaining for just over three months now - for the first time in my life, I am not on my way up or down and it feels amazing. Still takes so much work though so well done everyone x x

Hi - I know it was a while ago since the last post but was just wondering if you found your treatment plan effective?

I have asthma and have found running really helps alleviate the symptoms, I would echo others comments on starting slow and also be aware that your running will be affected by air temperature, pollen pollution etc, so don't be concerned if you have quite variable performance. Add me as a friend if you want to chat more…

Unbelievable, I can't believe how horrendous some humans are :'(

This is a bit of an old post - but if any of you are interested I emailed Pukka and they say all their teas are under 4 cals :-)
-
Ha I am trying to get more like this day by day, I care so much what others think but why is their opinion more valid than mine?
-
Thanks everyone for your inspiring and helpful comments. I guess the thing is (luckily) I am not used to criticism as I have a lovely husband who has been very supportive, so I feel a little tongue tied when someone is so blunt about something I consider quite personal. All your tips will be very useful if it happens again…

Love this!

Thank you both good advice, I sometimes wonder if I am being over sensitive but at the same time cannot imagine commenting on, never mind criticising someone about their body. So I guess the problem is theirs and I am happy as I am so they will just have to deal with it!

Hi powdered, yeah previously I have not been using it with my HRM so I am going to give that a go, good to hear it helped in your situation gives me hope I can get more accurate data.
-
Thanks, this is a great article, will read it in more detail but seems like it might be a good idea to get my HR monitor strap out of the back of the cupboard!
-
Hi Sijomial, thanks for that input, I get what you are saying I'm not too worried about it, I just work in science so am a bit of a data pendant lol! Again I think monitoring and making adjustments is the key to this, someone said on another forum that it is like keeping a ship on course with variable tides which I think…
-
Thank you meandering! I think the test and adjust methodology is best for sure, I just wondered how Garmin comes up with such a high number, I find it annoying because it has my weight details etc.....
-
So sad I can't get these in the UK :(
-
I suffer from this especially in winter, any tips on keeping feet warm? I have tried heat holder socks but it isn't enough!!
-
Very much in agreement, watched 3 episodes in a row yesterday and felt very sad!
-
Good luck on your journey! I have been on this site on and off for a while but stuck with it the past three months and managed to lose 2 stone so I know you can do it!
