  • Thanks Jennifer! I know I do, it just sucks knowing I have to do it again..lol It's time though. I kept seeing people running around town and I kept thinking that should be me. Like I said, it's time.
  • Same story here. I didnt quite reach my goal weight but got under 200 lbs for the first time since my early 20's. I got too comfortable, and today I weigh 235 :(. I'd say to myself, "you can eat that, youre looking good, and feel great!" I will lose what I gained because I know how to do it and I've done it before. Next…
  • thank you so much! ya know I feel awesome! haha wow that reads corny! lol I used to think I could never do this or "I can't" do that, now I feel like I am a "doer" and "I can" is more of a part of my vocabulary. Next goal is a full marathon, and I know I CAN do it!

  • Just to update! :) Havent run an "official" 5k since my last one. But i do time my runs and have my 5k now down under 27 minutes, my last one being 26:59..yes it's a second and it totally counts!! haha I usually run close to a 10k when I do run, so I look at my splits and get my 5k time from the map my fitness app. I…
  • I know exactly how you feel. I've been overweight literally my entire life. I decided I would never get a girl lookin like I did so I worked out religiously and got down to 185 from what was a previous high of 260. I suddenly got attention from the ladies and met my eventual ex wife Amber..lol Well she had an affair and…

  • Like many have said it isnt easy but it sure as hell can be done! ;) I'm going to be 41 on the 26th and I went from 335 to 210 today. I'm not done yet either and it's a constant struggle but I know I can do it and I will do it. It's all about motivation, find it and nothing will stop you !! Good luck! And friend me if you…
  • -bought a new pair of cargo shorts and I actually fit into 32's! yay!! - ran on the treadmill at the gym and actually clocked a 5k in 25:20, I know I'm capable of faster times now and need to find a way to push harder when the feet hit the pavement - tightened my belt one more notch, I'm out of holes for the 2nd time on…

  • Feel free to add me. My heaviest recorded weight was 335, I was probably closer to 350. I've lost 120 lbs and sit at 215 today. I never put the pressure of big goals on myself. I always looked at mini goals and it just kept going. If I was at 266 lbs. I would say to myself, Mike....just 2 more lbs and I will be 264 and…
  • good for you!! I was at XXL as well and now can wear a large. I also was on blood pressure meds and I am diabetic. I now manage my diabetes with diet and exercise and no medication and am off the blood pressure pills!
  • At work one of my customers asked when I had started because I was new to the store. I told him I had been there 2 years and he probably just remembers the bigger Mike..lol Ive also drilled new holes in my belt. Well I must have drilled 8 new holes about a month ago and now I see just one hole left before I'll need to do…

  • My highest "recorded" weight was 335. I have a suspicion I may have been as high as 350. ugh! I am currently 215. I always thought I'd be happy at the weight I was when I met my exwife (189), however I don't think i had much muscle then. I really want to be out of the 200's. Just something about that that I have to do. I…

  • once had a boil on the inside of my *kitten* cheek, Tried to pop it to soon and it popped under my skin. I had to go to the er where I had to lay on my back with my legs up in the air as I cupped my stuff in my hands as nurses, dr's and everyone else came in that needed to. EMBARASSING. And I had the nerve to say..."I bet…

  • I prefer jogging so much more outside. I can measure out the distance I WANT to run and know if I jog there I have to get back, so there's no "STOP" button where I can just give in. And if I have to come back from that point I might as well push myself and try and jog it out. I went from being unable to jog a half mile a…
  • 43 lbs in 2 months...wife left at the end of august and I lost some initial weight from the stress of it all. When I saw that I had lost I thought why not really lose the weight and get back to where I was when I met her. So when she left I was appx 270 and today I am 227. I workout twice a day and i love to run. Now that…
