You have been given so much great advice already. Above all, be kind to yourself. Anyone who judges you does not deserve your time or energy. Find people that you want to be like and befriend them. Have you tried any movements in a pool? the water can be very kind to joints etc. Any change in life is scary. That is human…

How frustrating!! My advice: get a 2nd (or 3rd) opinion. Your symptoms should be taken into effect when determining dosages. Unfortunately, we need to advocate for ourselves in the medical field. You know your body better than anyone else. Don't give up.

Hi Briana, Feel free to add me. I have a long journey ahead of me and would appreciate some friends with the same type of journey. Together, we can do this.

I can understand. I wasn't taught "healthy eating" growing up. So I am trying to teach myself. One day at a time. One meal at a time. You can do this. You just have to figure out your reason "WHY"

I am in WI. Feel free to add me. It's hard to stay motivated every single day. That's what MFP friends are for!!

Fitbit/MFP can be fussy sometimes. Double check your settings/goals in each of them. during the week I do my exercise after work. Therefore, I don't usually see any exercise calorie credits until suppertime. Are you getting 10k steps/day? Any active minutes? Just things to eliminate. I don't use my gadgets as the final…

Unfortunately, we need to advocate for ourselves in health care. Get a 2nd (and maybe 3rd) opinion. That is your right. And you doctor needs to recognize and respect that. I think you are teaching your body to rely on the huge amounts of exercise you are doing. So when you are not able to get that much in, your body will…

OP you sound totally overwhelmed. And you sound like a perfectionist (I am one also.) All or nothing. Take a deep breath. And get back to the basics. No matter what NEVER EVER EVER GIVE UP. And if you had a mistake with food, log it and forget it and move on. Don't keep sabotaging yourself the rest of the day. Why wait…

How frustrating!! I am curious to see what others suggest. the only thing I can think of when is the last time you had your levels checked? wish I was more of a help. :(

My 2 cents... Whatever program you choose to follow, if you follow it and are honest...it will work. The basics of the program is tracking. Studies show that tracking what you eat (honestly and accurately) will get you 2x weight loss as not tracking. WW gives the extra motivation and accountability. the meetings are…
