aha good to know I am not alone! This is my second week. After stronglifts I feel so hungry!

Lightly active. Don't count your exercise in this section, that is to be added separately. They will add calories (be mindful its often overestimated) for each exercise you add.

I am always starving after swimming too! lol As for cycling, outdoors is super fun but I feel a little depressed doing it in the gym. Do both until you figure out which one you enjoy more.

Add coconut oil to your diet. It is high in fat and has lots of health benefits :). I add a tablespoon a day to my coffee. It is 120 calories, but I always feel super energetic after drinking it.

As others said just lower your portions. But it would be wise to get the ingredients and about how much they are using because you will be surprised to see how much calories some things actually have! Some things have ridiculous amounts of calories, and knowing that will help you with proper portion control.

The only thing I really swapped out is my high calorie dressing for a vinegarette ( aha every once in awhile I indulge :p ). I also am very limited on the high calorie drinks such as soda ( diet tastes blah to me) just because I would rather eat those calories lol. Other then that I eat pretty much anything, just portion…

I eat at least one banana a day! It replaces me munching on junk food :D

You are setting yourself up for failure with that attitude. You are linking your body with your happiness, which is a never ending cycle. Even when you lose all of the weight, which you are mistaking for the cause of your depression, you will nitpick at other aspects of your body that you hate and be depressed about that…

lol I ignore the sugar goal on MFP because I always go over! It is mostly from fruit, which I have no intention of cutting from my meals! And I eat the fruit whenever I want , never heard of this eat fruit at a certain time bs :huh:

I love hot tea :)...like others said personal taste is so different you should just experiment. I like black teas with cream and sugar or honey.

this year went in both directions. I slowly gained weight over a few years but sky rocketed to my heaviest of 230 by June, a big yikes! maybe slow down a bit? Are you pushing yourself too hard? I guess everyone is different but I do not eat before I workout and I feel fine. How much do you eat per day? Are you eating your exercise calories back?

are you eating enough/getting enough nutrients? It seems like the opposite should happen :/ . Try adding garlic to your meals, a staple food for me :). Hope you feel better,

I agree that it is most likely you are eating too few calories. I did the same thing for a couple weeks when I first joined. I was groggy, drained and super grumpy! I upped my calories and feel so good now. Play around with eating more. Most likely you have your loss set at 2 pounds a week, try cutting it to 1 1/2 pounds…

we leave ours out every year (in a tub of cold water), never got sick from it. I am pretty sure you don't plan on eating it raw so you will be fine :)
