Thank you. I'll just take it in stride and keep going.

So this is what the poster above you meant. I had no idea that this happens to muscles. Thank you for the info. I walked for an hour yesterday in addition to doing a whole body strength training video.

This is odd, but the only way I really stay motivated is by planning events in which I will have to wear revealing clothing. I am going on a cruise with my husband in a month. So I will have to wear a swimsuit. Then I am going to a costume party for New Year's, and of course I chose a sexy outfit. Another way to stay…

I did increase my activity yesterday. I doubled up. I thought that might help though ...

I've never been able to run comfortably. It hurts my head and my feet, even with running shoes. It feels way too exasperating. You will get a ton of benefits from walking. I would say just stick to the kind of workout you enjoy the most. That way you are more likely to stick with it in the long run. I enjoy walking, so I…

Like if you ever get those bags of chicken legs you have to break in half to separate the drumstick from the thigh. Crack, crack, crack! Sorry, I know that's not helping!

My bones make painless, crunchy noises without me even exercising. My toes crack when I get up out of bed in the morning and start walking across the room. My thumbs have cracked since I was 15. And my knees sometimes crack during squats. Definitely Rice Krispies on a mass scale.

I didn't know Hispanics liked thickness and curves. Makes sense when you think about the food being so good.

Mine too. I get teased about it all the time. We'll just have some small -- but tight cakes.

I studied some film and entertainment history in college, and in the U.S. the models in early ads and actresses on the stage were a healthy thin, not a bony thin. Maybe what we'd consider a size 8 today, rather than the size 0 or 2 you see everywhere these days. It seems that people usually want to be whatever status is…

I don't get it either. I would like to just shake some of the people in my neighborhood with my hands, "What are you doing with yourself? Get off the couch before it kills you!." The idea that black culture has accepted obesity ingrained into it is highly upsetting. But I can only change me. So maybe I need to throw my…

It seems you've got a challenge just like I do, in terms of accepted sizes. I see the big & beautiful queen thing as self-acceptance, but also accepting unhealthy -- and depending upon your perception -- unattractive norms as being beautiful. I don't see it as beautiful, but here I am into the slim chick thing. One of my…

I don't have the tummy issue, but I have never liked bikinis because I am busty, and also a little modest. I always wear one-piecers because they are just more comfortable and give more coverage. Am I the only one that isn't into bikinis?

I hadn't eaten at a fast food restaurant in a year. Out of necessity on the road I had a Wendy's meal and got a stomach-ache almost immediately after. However, anything I make at home from scratch that resembles fast food does not make me sick. It's all in the ingredients I guess.

I love whole eggs, and eat them hard-boiled with breakfast or for snacks. But now I am craving sizzling over-easy eggs with some crispy hash browns. Lordy!
-
Agreed!

I'm an hourglass too. I have the same upper arm issue. I have noticed that doing a lot of tricep work has to be coupled with a dietary calorie deficit to actually look slimmer in the upper arms -- at least in my case.
-
Sounds like you have been incredibly successful. Your face looks nice here already.
-
I loved when my face started getting slimmer looking. I forgot about that part!

Bump

There is a difference between hunger pangs and cravings. If you're physically hungry, I think you should definitely eat something. A raw apple, a hard-boiled egg or two, and two cups of water, will fill you up without a lot of calories.

Those are some tigress moves, Hayley. I use those on my husband.

A little bit of come hither eye contact coupled with some downward gazes afterwards. You don't have to say a thing. It is hard for a man to mistake it for anything else. This is the flirtation that has existed in humans since the beginning of time. It is usually enough to get them to come closer, pique their interest, get…

Gin, Okay, now here I go with my own long post. I am sorry you had this less than romantic experience with this guy. Everyone has had their own bad experiences in dating. I think the problem here is that gone are the days when all men were expected to be honorable towards women with their actions, as well as the days when…

It is totally healthy and normal. Finding a mate is one of the main biological drivers in our existence. If humanity didn't work towards attracting or keeping our mates, the human race would cease to exist. Keep it going, girlie!

MusicLover, If it weren't for strength training off and on since I was 18, I would be much fatter than I am, even though I am on a mission to lose two dress sizes for a cruise. Eat more raw watery fruits and vegetables, like apples, celery, carrots, cukes for snacks. Drink 8 glasses of water a day. Eat protein, like…
