down 1 lb - too bad it was from a stupid stomach virus yesterday. ugh! oh well - i'll take it! finally got a jogging stroller yesterday (before the virus got me!) so getting ready to plop my daughter in it and give it a spin.

Your safest (and smartest) bet is to go to a RUNNING sports store and have them assess your feet, pronation, etc. Otherwise, you could end up with a pair not made for your running style and feet = probable injury (this advice is coming from experience and 2 injuries due to shoes!). good luck everyone! go SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW and steady - believe me, I know. i had to quit c25k TWICE b/c of injuries. i finally did it (3rd times a charm) after 3 years and 1 baby :noway: - i ran my 1st 5k last October (profile pic). I am in the same boat! Mine is baby weight too, but my 'baby' is now 3. :noway: I workout 5-6 days a week and have started logging calories again. I've cleaned up my eating BIG time - aaaannnnnddd nothing. I was down 2 day before yesterday, and up that 2 again today. VERY frustrating.
