It required the same dedication that it has taken to lose the weight. To get to over 300 pounds, I had to have the same level of focus on eating that I have now, except my focus was on eating poorly instead of eating healthy. I was constantly thinking about when I would get my next big meal.

Hi Scott! Welcome to Foodaholics Anonymous. Great post. Good luck to you. Fight the battle one day at a time. It's all about having a calorie deficit. Walking is a great way to burn calories, especially getting started. The more calories you burn, the more calories you can eat (I love that). I'll be rooting for you.

I weight once a week and only log if I lost weight. When I started this journey I worried more about the scale each week, but at this point I know if I'm following the program or not and that's more important than the number on the scale.

I get your concern, and I have a lot of loose skin, but keep in mind, loose skin is 1000000000 times better than skin stretched tight by fat.
