Just convinced my boyfriend to do Keto, so we're giving it a shot for a while.

140-150 to go, feel free to add me.

I'm in a similar situation, though I did lose 4lbs the first week. I'm over 4 weeks in now and the scale hasn't moved, and my clothes don't feel any different either.... I'm probably giving the diet another 2-3 weeks before I switch to something else as well.

I have about 140lbs to lose, so feel free to add me as well. :) ignore my ticker... it's set at a a midway goal for my macros/calories.

Oddly enough when I googled to learn more about these, this recipe was on Amazon's site. Vietnamese Noodle Soup 3 cups organic reduced sodium chicken stock 1 clove garlic, minced 1 tsp minced ginger 1/4 tsp cardamom 1- 7oz bag of Miracle Noodle Angel Hair Noodles 1 boneless, skinless chicken breast sliced crosswise into…

Glad to hear that you're in a better place now and that you're not letting others bring you down!!

This made me sad, I wish people could understand the ramifications of what they're saying to a 13 year old and how they can carry that with them forever.
-
I get this one a lot as well, when I tell people how much I weigh they tell me that I don't look like it. I had two friends actually drop their bottom jaws when I told them my starting weight.... that I DID take as a compliment!
-
Wow, that is just terrible... I don't blame you one bit for not liking her!
-
Wow, thanks for all of the responses.. I never imagined this would get so many!

I've become addicted to Reddi-Whip... it's 15 calories for 1TB.. a quick squirt in the mouth and it does the trick to get the craving gone.

Welcome, I live just outside of Detroit!

This was much easier to understand (than the other roadmaps) for a newbie like me, thanks!

I've been eating just under my BMR, based on my TDEE deficit and it has been working nicely so far.

The depression is also what gets me, two years ago I lost 60lbs and then slowly gained it back because I was so depressed and I just didn't give a f*^&. I'm so mad that I let my depression get the best of me, but I've made a lot of changes in my life and in myself, and I refuse to let the depression get the best of me this…

This made me laugh a lot at my desk... I needed that this Monday morning.

bump- very useful!

I even have this problem trying to re-heat rotisserie chicken, I just did it last night... re-heated about 5 oz, and ate two bites before I couldn't choke down anymore due to the taste/smell. REALLY glad to hear that I'm not the only one.

I usually can't eat for a few hours before an intense workout, or it says hello to me the entire time I'm working out which is very annoying. So I'm usually pretty hungry after my workout, I bring protein powder and mix it up in my car and drink it on the way home from the workout. I find that if I don't do this then I'm…

I'm from Michigan, not too far outside of Detroit.
-
This! I always bring some protein powder and my blender ball for after my workouts, I can guzzle it walking out of the gym or in the car immediately after and it takes my hunger feelings away.
-
This it for me as well! I eat fairly well during the day while I'm at work, but the minute I get some I want to stress eat because I hate my job and don't want to go back to work the next day.

I don't believe in cheat days either, my dad kept doing this kind of diet where you ate what you wanted on the weekend... he's still overweight. The silly thing is he keeps trying to talk me into doing it!! I prefer to have a treat here and there throughout the week when I have the extra calories for it, it's more special…

I had this issue with my ex-fiance's mother, she was the BIGGEST food pusher I've ever met in my life, she felt that food equated to love. They would make food for 20 people when they're were only 6, which meant there were always tons of leftovers. Not to mention she would always make things slathered in butter, heavy…
