Two weeks ago I got off track for a couple of days with emotionally eating, having a lot of carbs when I couldn't sleep. Just being honest with my MFpals that I had gained weight and how it happened cemented that I knew the airs of my way. I went back to my regular habits. Tried to not eat carb loaded food at night. My…

Thanks All, I do agree for lighter people there is less of a difference between mfpal vs tdee. It just seems few people eat back properly on the mfpal plan. Both can work great. I just hope my massive calorie jump makes it easier for others to make small changes. An update I did raise my calories again to TDEE-500 to 2626.…

Hi katem, Thank you for the praise. I looked at the last 10 days of your diary. Looks like your disciplined :) I would suggest being more consistent with eating back your cals. A couple days your net cals were around 1000. Without eating back consistently you are not following the mfpal program. Like myself and others this…

Thanks I needed this to. I am way more critical of my body now than 10,25, or 50lbs ago. I have gone from noticing the small positive changes, to noticing how far I have to go. Which makes it harder to be patient and keep eating at a healthy level. I do see great things a head, and that I am on the right path.

baby steps baby steps. My ailments made things take longer. Just being active at home, work, and as I could outdoors made doing more later easier. Like chaplainamy1 said physical therapy could do wonders for you. I hope you are more proactive than I was. Being positive came from hints of being able to be active again.…

I am so appreciative of this entire thread. I have been concerned about my rapid weight lost the last 5 weeks. I knew I had a lot of factors in my favor for a big month. I am worried about too much muscle lost and my metabolism changing. At my current trend I could hit my V-day goal by New Years. This thread is a reminder…

Wanting to loose the weight has been there for a long time, even longer knowing how to lose weight. Last February I learned a coworkers son who is in his 30s was having heart problems, and needed surgery. Because of him I step on the scale for the first time in forever. My profile summarizes some of my own health problems.…
