Are you eating back your exercise calories? I found that when I don't eat back at least half of my exercise calories, I tend to hang on to weight. Also, depending on what kind of cardio you do, do you take any sort of protein afterward? Whether it be a shake or even some chocolate milk?

At work yesterday, someone came around with a box of donuts offering them to people and I resisted those no problem. I think maybe because it was a temporary distraction and they weren't just sitting in front of me. I swear there are Jedi mind tricks that food can play on people when it's just sitting in front of them

Very cool, thanks so much for the info! I got a little paranoid because my co-worker was surprised I was eating 2 apples. He said that it was a lot of sugar to take in for just one meal.

I know that when I started with this website I didn't lose any weight either. I think it was because I saw my calorie goal and freaked out about meeting it each day - I would even eat when I wasn't hungry. I also would "exercise" and write off those calories so that I could justify eating more, but honestly, the hula…

If everything doesn't have to be raw, I would recommend doing a lot of steamed vegetables becasue there are so many different ones!

To help it cook faster you should drain it between some paper towels because it has a lot of water in it. I usually sautee it with some crushed garlic, soy sauce and lemon juice or hoisin sauce.

I'm pear shaped, but not extremely. I've also noticed that when I do lose weight it's like I'm melting from my shoulders down and my calves up. The last place I lose weight is from where I really want to! - in my thighs and butt >:|

I know you can't lengthen muscles. I meant how when they're nice and tight and toned, they look long and lean.

I wouldn't mind losing muscle mass in my thighs to be honest, but I don't know how to do that. I know that I can tone them up to make them smaller - anything but bigger! That's why I've become invested in yoga in hopes that the stretching will help elongate and tighten my muscles.

I was doing P90X for a little while but that made me gain 3 pounds of muscle and lose no inches. Needless to say I was devastated, so I decided to stop that and take up swimming again.

No children yet, I'm only 22! lol My jean size varies depending on the brand, I'm either a 7 or a 9 (so of course I buy the brand that I'm a 7 in! ha ha)
