I've lost a 5 gallon jug of water -- almost! 1 lb away! :-)

Are you on any type of medication for your PCOS? I am insulin resistant and I take Metformin for that. Maybe you should see an endo and go from there. Also, it is recommended for ladies with PCOS to keep their carbs at 40% or below --- have you tried this? I'd see a nutritionist while you are scheduling that endo appt.

I think it all depends on the amount of weight you need to lose. I have 89 lbs to go before I hit my ultimate goal weight of 160, so 2lbs/week for me is feasible. I will eventually adjust it down to 1.5/ week, then 1/week and maybe even once I am down to 160 I will change it to 0.5/ week. It also has a lot to do with your…

It's simple..I have no social life now. lol. Seriously though I just cannot drink the way I used to, it makes me drowsy and nauseous. I sitll do drink from time to time. Far less than 'socially' -- more like once every 4 months or so.

3 lbs down this week! 17 to go. :-) I met a goal of mine as well, 250 lbs and I am at 249!!! Let's see if we can't maximize this 20 lbs by Christmas and then some! :-)
-
I'm in! That is a mini goal of mine as is!

My prayers are with you and your family. May God bless you all and help your husband see that the only way to get over it is to go through it -- together. Many blessings.

Right now I have mine at 40% Carbs 30% Protein 30% Fat. I find that I actually eat much less than even the 40% on most days. For me, 40% is right around 130 carbs daily and even that seems high to me. I found something where they recommend PCOSers to have a maximum of 40% carbs daily intake.

Thanks for the heads up! Just downloaded my copy. Now I am actually psyched -- I have been wanting to do C25K but have been putting it off. :-)

I should have read all the way through -- wow he looked up your DL pic?! That is kinda creepy. So have you already met up with him?

I would definitely have that conversation with him if things seem to be going well at coffee. If not, no love lost -- no love found. If you two hit it off I would casually mention that 'Hey I know you didn't realize you were being a complete moron (maybe not those words exactly haha), but I have ate well and exercised a…

Falling off the wagon is nothing more than slipping up for a short while. Get back on! You are the only one that can decide to jump back on the wagon and start today as a new day. Losing weight is not about being 'good' all the time -- it is about changing your lifestyle so that you don't have to be 'good'. I am obese by…

You look fabulous!!! Great job, girl. I added you, I am definitely inspired!

Bump for the info...thanks for posting this questions, I needed help in this area too!
-
Consider me inspired!!! I too gained a lot of weight after the birth of my daughter in August of 09. I will work hard to meet the same goal you are -- I want to be 160 lbs. Thank you for having the courage to post the pics!!!
-
You look amazing!!! I have 95 lbs to go until my Goal weight -- and I am super inspired by you. Thank you for sharing and GREAT JOB!!!
-
Thank you all! I have struggled with PCOS for 8 years now, I was 255 lbs and ended up losing 85 lbs around 5 years ago and even kept it off for 2 years. Upon getting pregnant with my daughter (what a miracle in itself!) I carried to term and gained 40 lbs with her. Then after birth lost 15 to 20 and ballooned up to 286…

Amazing!! I started out at 286 this time around -- also my all-time highest weight. I am now down to 255. I cannot wait to join you in ONEderland soon! It is motivating to see someone who started out exactly where I did having wonderful progress! Thank you for posting the pics!!!

Welcome! And good luck to you! I am working to get the weight off as well -- I've beein in Nursing and I know what a strenuous field it can be. I'm rooting for you!

How amazing!! Your wife is such an inspiration.

Thank you for the encouraging words! I have lost down to 185 lbs before I had my daughter (my high at that time was 255) and it was so hard trying to get that last 20 to 30 off...I ended up getting pregnant before I could get below 185, then I just gained from there. I have PCOS too so it is extra hard for me to lose. I am…

Great advice ladies! I will be much happier than I was last Christmas, whether it is 200 or 180 lbs. I will keep working hard at it and hopefully by the time I get there the inches will have fallen off and I will look super cute in a formal dress! That's another vice for me, not acknowledging the inches and waiting for the…

Thank you for the reply! See, I hadn't figured the lbs per week yet, I should have done that before. I will bump it up a bit and try to lose 2 lbs per week til then. I will still have 20 to 30 lbs to go after that until I reach my ultimate goal. I would definitely settle for 200ish by then, at least I could wear a cute…

AMAZING!!! I wish I could have had your determination when I was 16. :) You inspire me to do something about it now though. 28 lbs down, 98 more to go!
-
I am 258 and 25 years old. I've lost 28 lbs since February and am hopefully steadily losing still. I will take all the support I can get!!
-
Count me in! I have 98 more to go! I've lost 28 lbs so far. :)
-
Thank you for this! I really needed to hear that. I fell off the wagon recently and today I started anew and went at it full force. I feel amazing as it is, but I'm ready to be healthy! I love who I am and I deserve to be in shape. It's not to make me feel better about myself, but to make myself feel better all around!…

WOWZA! You are smokin! Seriously, you are such an inspiration. I have 100 lbs to go, I have lost 26 so far. I hope I can look like you soon!
-
I can definitely see the difference!!! Take a look at those pics, you have lost many inches! Keep it up!!!

AMAZING! You are such an inspiration for me. I hope I look that good soon!
