Love more people to challenge me on fitbit. Find me on fitbit at hessteria@msn.com.

The Danskin tanktop at Walmart have a little pocket on the shoulder that is perfect for the fitbit. Keeps it safe and dry and they're under 10 bucks and a built in bra!
-
LoVe my fitbit. Never leave home without it. So... Did you leave your stride length and running stride length at 0, or did you set yours. If you set yours, how tall are you and what did you set it at? Curious. I just reset mine to 0 because I cannot seem to get mine right.

Signing up for a 10k. Have until October, yikes! Started training, but July 16 is the official start date. I will hopefully be able to run two miles by that date. I have a long way to go. Good luck on yours!
-
Good luck on your 5k!

Big hot mess sign pointed right at me too. Night running. Also run at night because I feel I have more energy from eating. Not enough protein in me in the morning. Too lazy tos make a protein shake. Hmm maybe just too lazy, lol.

Great job! Just turned 40 myself in May. Sure is an eye opener. But starting to feel younger just by being more active. You look wonderful. Good luck with your journey.

Dave is right. I only lost 1 pound every one or two weeks, but anything more would have been unhealthy for me.

Sorry you are having a hard time with your results. I don't have any answers, but keep changing things up to find what works for you. Also, play around with less sugars and watch the salt. I've heard people lower those and see great results. Make those calories count, and keep at it. You will find the sweet spot.

Exactly. Back handed comments should be taken as a compliment. The person may not be judging you so much as judging themselves. Life's to short to worry about what anyone else thinks. I plan on eating healthy most of the time, but put that chicken wing in my face and I'll be licking your fingers, too. :)

:) Comical double standard that I could really care less about, but is really fun to talk about. :) Love your post.
-
I wouldn't... Why force yourself to eat? If you are eating right, what's the worry. I have not-very-hungry days. I usually eat like a horse the day after. oops

Emu's and Bear Claws are great at a lower price. If you want to go super affordable... try JC Penny's Arizona brand, or Target.
-
Thank you for sharing your story. You are a strong woman, you took what most would have a hard time with and made so many positive changes in your life. I wish you the best of luck with everything.

Big hug to all you women. Really women love, hate, laugh, cry. They're strong, they bruise. Sorry people had to be so cruel. They could have learned something. Ignorance is their curse. Live strong.
