You are so right about how your perception of thin changes! I felt smallish when I got below 200 -like 185-190, but looking at those pictures I feel like I look so chubby! (which I'm sure I was at that weight! :P ) now at 167, I can't believe I felt that was thin. and i'm not even sure I feel thin now! haha. Here's hoping…

for the whole first year of my weightloss I exercised really regularly with fitnessblender.com, about every other day. And I did a looot of walking. The last four months, when I went back to uni, I let it go to the wayside and focused on diet, but I have a year and a half old to chase around! Now that it's summer again I'm…

what do you guys even mean by pouch? I've had a c-section as well, but I don't know what you mean. I was like 210 when I got pregnant (like upper 170s now) so maybe I already had one or something and just don't know? Really curious what you guys mean by pouch.

Thanks everyone! I am still surprised when I look in the mirror, haha.

Red meats spike your blood sugar a whole bunch, I guess your body probably knows that and wants to get something like that in its system asap.

When my daughter was born, I was 13lbs up from my pre-knowing-I-was-pregnant weight, then I gained three pounds but I'm now 34lbs down. 226-192. I had a c-section, too. My body would absolutely not allow me to breastfeed, despite my little girl's perfect latch, a ridiculous amount of effort and way too many meetings with a…

I like to plan out meals for the week and pre-prepare as much as possible on Sundays, or just when I can. That way most of what you have to do is put something in the oven, or reheat it. It really opens up your time, lets you plan out healthier things, AND reduces waste so you save money on your food bill. I also cook my…

Hey there - my daughter (11 months now) thinks that watching my workout is hilarious, so she watches me and giggles her little head off and slaps my stomach when I work out (I have managed a full hour workout that way! but generally I try to stay to around 30 min). Otherwise, I wait until she is having a nap and begin…

Hey, I have a large rib cage - but I'm not sure if it's like what you're describing. I don't even know if I look like it but whenever I go to the doctors they mention it in relation to my weight and telling me I don't have to worry about as much cause I am literally wider set. Like my waist has always been smaller, too.…

Hey - as someone else said, I have taken my progress pics every 4 weeks (besides this summer where I went off the counting etc and still lost 10 pounds!) and they have been WONDERFUL! if you're ever feeling like nothing has changed, there's the plain proof in front of you.
-
Great job sticking to your guns! You look great, keep going :)

my body wouldn't let me breastfeed despite weeks of trying! I like to plan my food the day before, and use that as a guideline for the next day which has really helped. the past couple months I was visiting Halifax, NS, so I was walking EVERYWHERE! an average of 5 miles a day - i didn't even log then and lost 10 pounds.…

ahh thank you for always being so supportive!! I'm pumped! :)

Hey there - I had my daughter this past December and lost my baby weight by sometime in March I think - and I'm actually around 10 pounds less now than when I found out I was pregnant. It's more than possible! of course my stomach is a bit wrinklier and stuff butttttttttttt what can ya do. edit: I should mention I was…

Definitely! The jeans I bought after my little girl was born (because I was soooooooo frickin sick of maternity jeans) are bags now! That was definitely a-ha for me. Those jeans were size too-big as far as I'm concerned haha. and thanks everyone! I haven't seen my boyfriend since I was 7 months pregnant (he's in Nova…
