  • YOU CAN DO IT! That's why you keep logging on here and keep coming back so that everyone can help keep you motivated. After awhile it will just become second nature. Picture what you want to look like...and be realistic. Think of things you will be able to do without all the weight on, and reasons losing it will help you.…
  • I don't think you are suppose to count tea OR coffee as part of your water intake. Just from all the things I have read anyway you aren't. Even diet soda, which has no calories, you aren't suppose to. It was stated somewhere I read actually that if you drink any of the above you actually have to drink 2 - 8oz. glasses of…
  • "The most important opinion you have is the one you have of yourself." - unknown Congrats on the 56 lbs. That is an awesome accomlishment! Your sister might have lost but she didn't do it the hard way...and in the long run it won't mean as much or be as important as it is for you. Because you will have worked hard and…
  • Underwear and jeans happened to me also. Too funny! Feels good!
  • I found this site through my best friend, also an MPF user, Andee. She came on and told me about it so I came to "look around" and from that day forward was hooked. I have been here now for 53 days, as of today, and have lost 20 pounds! I love this site and all the support and information you get from it. I have learned…
  • A - Anything that sounds that easy is too good to be true and can't be good for you. B - Most people that lose weight this way will gain it all back plus some. C - That calorie amount is ridiculous and asking for trouble/health problems. That is not a healthy amount. Of course she would be losing. Stick to what you are…
  • I know exactly how you feel. Doesn't it feel great when your pants easily come off without unbuttoning or unzipping them!! I love it! All my t-shirts that I use to have to pull over my head and stretch out even more to feel comfy in are getting loose now too. I love the way I feel. I am having more energy too then I have…
  • I have over 100 lbs. to lose and I have BOTH the P90X and a lot of the Biggest Loser dvd's. Don't get me wrong I love the Biggest Loser dvd's but nothing can match the intensity and the results that are proven by the P90X. It not only helps you burn fat, but you tone and gain muscle at the same time. Biggest Loser isn't at…
  • ONE WORD - - - - - - P90X!!!!!!! It is awesome!!!!
  • Just a side note....I have been told that fish oil pills are great for a lot...including metabolism. You are better taking them at bed though from what I hear...as through the night it helps more with metabolism then. Can't hurt!
  • SLOW IS GOOD!!! They say losing it slow...A. You are more likely to keep it off...and B. You typically don't have any hanging skin problems as much!
  • COMPLETELY makes sense! I understand! We are crammed with information that says eat less calories and lose weight...and yes it is true..but if you work out you have to recreate the energy (fuel) in your body...eating is that way. Doesn't make sense...but does all at the same time. ha! Goodluck!!
  • You are suppose to try to eat your workout calories in order to lose the weight. You might now always be able to eat them all but you are suppose to try to come close.

  • Yes I am sticking to them. It is hard in the beginning maybe a little, just because your stomach and mind are use to eating and getting whatever they want...hence the weight gain. ;o) I just eat smaller portions of everything now and stick to things like oatmeal for breatfast, 300 calorie meals for lunch..or around there,…
  • Hello there! You can walk...that is free other than maybe a pair of good shoes. Also, at walmart there are dvd's for cheap. For $9.00 you can get the Biggest Loser Boot Camp workout dvd. It is awesome and easy to do at home. You could also get 2 5lb dumbbells. So for about $20 you can get started. Goodluck!
  • I tried to join this blog a week or so ago and had my weigh in days messed up. I would love to join though and be a part of the "challenges". Thanks! Everyone have a good day and a good weekend!!! Here is my weight loss thus far. 01/31/10 253 02/01/10 248 02/07/10 244 02/13/10 241.6 and today 02/19/10 240.5
  • Yes....please don't eat only 500 calories a day. First of all, that in itself can make you not be able to lose weight...or even to gain. Your body will react like you are starving it and hold onto every ounce just to keep it;s energy up. Second...they say when working out you should try to spread it out. Give your muscles…
  • I have learned from yo-yo dieting that there is no magic pill and that even the "aids" aren't good for you probably. It is just hard work, determination, and a healthier lifestyle of eating. If you have to take it then you tend to rely on it. Think of it this way....the weight didn't go on you in a week...it won't come off…
