Thats my gameplan as well. Thanks. Good to hear that it worked for you.

thanks guys. It's going to be 2 miles/10 miles/2 miles. Will be doing more brick training. I kind of already do as I cycle to and from work, and run after work. I just don't get back on the bike to go home too quickly. So I'll be cuttign down on the transition time.

girls just want to have fun

I commute to work on my bike. Rain, sunshine, hot or cold! So in the winter I ride outside unless there is ice or snow on the roads. Then, I take the day off or go for a run. It doesn't stay on the roads too long here in Maryland, so I don't miss too many days.

Either a time machine or a transporter.

I take it you are trying to gain weight and you are pretty active. 4100 calories is pretty much what I have to consume to support my cycling/running/lifting habits! It is tough! It isn't fun training when you feel like you have eaten a thanksgiving day dinner!

Beautiful (and sexy)!

Shorts and a t shirt are fine. Wear some biker shorts under regular shorts if you'd like. The clothes shouldn't be too baggy, though... Reason being they can get in the way and/or be a bit of a hassle to move in, especially if you are using dumbbells. I suppose it's not that big of a deal, though. Just a thought.

I don't have a patent on it, but I have a lifting routine which I call "The Big Five+": 1. Squats (variations: deadlifts, lunges, leg press, hack squats) - Covers all muscles of the legs and butt. Also the lower back if you lay off the leg press and hack squat. 2. Bench Press (variations: DB bench press, machine chest…

Real cute and from Chicago... But that's not the question... I'll say hot.

Naw... Not that I know of. I don't go out much though, don't talk much, and the wedding band does discourage gals, I suppose. Not really wanting to get hit on either. But I do want to look good and get an occasional look (just being honest!). Working on that!

Don't listen to music often when I work out, but when I do, Black Sabbath's "Iron Man"... Great song to squat by! Is there an athlete/person that inspires you to work out?

It could be a safety issue... You should keep in mind that just because you have good form doesn't mean everyone else does. On that same note, just because you don't slam or drop your weights doesn't mean everyone else is as careful. You, being careful with form, might just be getting caught up in a larger crowd that…

That's a heckuva pullup!

Sorry dude.... Gotta go. Nothing personal, but I'd let you have your privacy.

The Planet Fitness in my area doesn't have dumbbells above 65 lbs. Personally, that allows me to do some things, but not all. They also don't have free weights (beyond the dumbbells) and I prefer free weights. They have smith machines, but I don't include them as free weights. I'm also not happy with their past ad…

LOL!!!! @Littlebutlean... Haven't played racquet sports in years, but yea.... I like em... Your pic reveals you got a lower bodyfat than me! @suncluster.... Yea... These days I do... But not always....

Cute, and has a sense of style.

Not much of a hockey fan although I love watching it live. I live in Baltimore.... I should be a Flyers or Caps fan, but my mamma loves the Pens! So I'm a Pens fan, too!

Haven't been to a bar in years! But the first thing I order is that the Cubs game be put on the tube, which is usually ignored and met with protests from people who want to see good baseball! After that I order a beer.

You have good taste in who's abs you want to lick!

I didn't read the article, but from the graphic someone else posted, I agree with the general idea. Yea, fast food may taste better and if you folks can afford the calories, knock yourselves out. I'm one of those people by the way cause I'm trying to gain weight and I need 4000 calories a day to do that. However, this…
