I lost 100 and I never restricted anything.

I only ate the snacks I brought to work today.

I made post its and put them on my mirror. Simple things like one penny per meal, 2 smoothies a week, walk 10,000 steps, read i like it bc before I go to bed, it holds e responsible. When I reach a goal I switch it with another goal. I tell you though the key was making them small at first. To feel accomplished.

My accountability mirror.

This is silly but I also pay myself a penny for every meal I log in. I’m enjoying putting the pennies in the jar at night.

My accountability mirror. I knew that those post it’s we’re staring back at me. I want to be able to switch them off Sunday. I knew there were actions I committed to and come hell or high water, I need to do them.

Walking 12,000 steps. It was emotional bc I cried for the first 30 minutes. Then I started to feel better again. Walking is definitely my happy place.

To feel comfortable in a bikini. Not a high waisted one either.

When I first started I thought I wouldn’t ever be able to quit smoking and workout past 10 minutes. Now I can be active all day. I also thought you had to eat less. Really you just have to eat more of the right foods.

You need to set money aside for new clothes.

@rosedale9 i sync mfp with my iPhone so I can add my steps to my calories. If I were you, I’d start eating back some workout calories and up the intake.

Also that losing weight and being healthy are the same thing. This drives me insane.

This is so true. All of it.

That 30 minutes of exercising 4 times a week is gonna be where the weight comes off. It’s in being active and staying in a caloric deficit. Step goals are more realistic.

I come from a meat eating family and they aren’t super happy I’m vegetarian now. My mom takes a lot things personally with her food. 1. Ignore them, they’ll get used to the new you. 2. Politely walk away when those things are offered. Just say no. She will get over it. 3. Start making and cooking your own food. This is…

What I notice: losing weight didn’t make me feel more confident. Picking healthy habits and having a healthy lifestyle did. What I wonder: if I can maintain being a vegetarian.
