If not one pound has dropped, you are likely not at a calorie deficit. I'd adjust my target down slightly, unless you are already very very low (>1200).

It definitely work if you work it! I'm 51 and made it down to 185 last summer with the help of MFP. It's actually the second time it's helped me get lean.

Sounds like you're off to a great start, you've got the right app, and your in a good headspace! Consistency is the key. Feel free to add or check my friends list for some great ladies with similar goals. We all log in and encourage each other everyday.

I'm 51 and just stopped by to say - It can be done! I'm in the best shape of my life after coming back and working hard with MFP about 18 months ago. Always happy to encourage others on their journey! (PS - it does not stop at goal weight!)

I weigh in daily, and use a scale that send the information right to my phone/app. There are bluetooth and Wifi scales that you can integrate with MFP and other apps.
