  • The most accurate weight is the one you take when you first get out of bed before you eat or drink anything for the day.
  • I was sleeved June 2022. Feel free to add me. I have been stuck right at 100 pounds lost but I am a work in progress.
  • Yes my diary is open. I was using another app for several weeks but changed back to this app a few weeks ago.
  • I am 2 weeks post op from having the sleeve. I have the same question as you. I need more protein.
  • Thank ya'll for the great ideas.
  • I had/have this problem too. Since I started cutting carbs (not drastically but around 100 grams) and eating lots more protein this problem seems to be going away. I still have my moments but even those moments are not binging like I use to do.
  • I had a similar problem. I couldn't exercise because of recovering from surgery for over a month and I love to eat when I am bored or stressed. When I am feeling like eating because I am bored I try to refocus on something else like reading (I tried tv but all thoes food commercials didn't help) amd when I want to stress…
  • I have been on here for a year and missed one day of logging and ruined my streak. But other than that I am here every day so feel free to add me. 57 pounds down and lots more to go.
  • I feel that way to sometimes. It took me an entire year to lose 57 pounds and I really thought I could make it to 100lbs lost in a year. But I am not giving up because I know it works it just takes forever. I am also realizing that this will be a life long challange and not a quick fix. Trying to make changes I can live…
  • I am doing the challange at my gym too! Trying for 30 lbs lost. Good luck to you.
  • I am the fat chick in the yoga class most of the time. After going 4 or 5 times I was more comfortable with it. Now the way I feel after yoga is so good I forget about all the other people.
  • Sent you a request. Anyone feel free to add me. Goal of 133 to lose
  • I feel the same way. I always felt hungry and could binge eat like crazy. I had to do several things. First I found several lower calorie foods that I enjoyed and could eat larger portions of. Always keep them for days I feel very hungry. Also I love sweets so I figured out that if I eat things like ice ream, candy, or…
  • I stopped buying junk. Once in a while I will buy cookies or something but it is rare. No soft drinks either. I still struggle to get my kids to eat really healthy but I know it will take time since most of their lives has been filled with junk. As for exercise that has been easier. I talked my daughter into training for a…
  • You need to figure out why you are binge eating. Is it stress? Then look for ways to relax. For me I would binge eat because I always felt hungry. I love rice, bread, and potatoes. As I started to change my life (not diet) I realized when I ate better quality of foods I was not as hungry. It was a process but after a…
  • You really do need to rethink the weight lifting. It helps so much. Muscle burns even more calories and it will help with lose skin. I started lifting as soon as I started to lose and has helped so much. Also I am way older than 18 but you can add me if you want.
  • I was very tired and sore when I first started. I went to my doctor and he gave me some prescriptions to help and he told me to take it slow. The pain, soreness, and just being tired will be gone before you know it. I feel great after i work out now. Also 1200 calories is very crazy to start with. I started with eating…
  • Also I noticed if I do not put new foods on his plate but I eat them in front of him he is much more likely to ask about them and try them.
  • My son does the same thing. He will not eat any red meat. No hamburgers or spaghetti with meat, nothing at all really but breaded chicken. I was worried but his doctor said he was fine. His speech therapist said it was probably a texture and a smell thing since he also smells everything all the time. At first I would force…
  • I always felt hungry too but after starting mfp and measuring my food I quickly learned I can still eat a lot of food if I change what I eat. 2 cups of broccoli is only 60 calories. As I have gone on with this I gradually needed less food and I feel more satisfied now than I did when I ate unhealthy foods. If I want candy…
  • Walking in a pool is fun and easy on the joints. Some places even have aquatic classes.
  • Now I want a dr pepper. Diet is just not the same.
  • I use the mean hurtful (normally truthful) words that people have said to me to help motivate me. But I also use the other great things to motivate me like my daughter wanting me to ride horses with her, my son wanting me to practice baseball with him, and the thought that one day I will feel good about myself and what I…
  • I am going to get a tatto when I hit 50 pounds lost. Plan on getting several tattos for books that I loved every time I reach a major goal. Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Nutrition Facts For Foods
  • I went from morbidly obese to obese. I was so excited to get away from that scary morbid word. I just started with exercise 5 days a week and change the things I eat. I weigh/measure everything and log it before I eat so the numbers are in my face. I am less likely to eat what I shouldn't now that I really know what the…
  • I was terrified when I started four months ago. My biggest fear was being the fat lady falling in front of everyone. Guess what it happened. I knocked over some stuff made a lot of noise and landed in the arms of several sweaty hot guys leaving a basketball court. I realized it wasn't that big of a deal and no one even…
  • I had a co worker comment about my weight loss then the very next day she brought me 12 fresh glazed donuts. She knows I absolutely love them. It was the most evil thing anyone has done to me. Good thing is I only ate one then gave the rest away.
  • I don't ever want to go back to being that big ever again. For the first time in my life I think I can do this but the fear is making me hold back. Donating is a great idea and I will be sure to do that!
  • I am looking at a goal of at least 100 pounds. Already lost 36! Anyone feel free to add me.
  • I had problems too when I first started! Now 100 days later I am doing things I never thought I could do like jog on a treadmill (only two min at a time so far) and doing 90 lb on the leg press! I gained lots of weight from medications and I am fighting back. 36 pounds gone already and every day I can do more. I also…
