  • Thanks :) I feel slightly addicted now, so that when I have a day off I'm antsy lol I will keep watch though and if I'm feeling like it's too much I will cut back!
  • Dear lord get a running leash, my lab and I run together frequently and he LOVES it! But I have cursed the poor guy numerous times over the leash (I have tripped and fell with a regular leash, not pretty). It honestly won't take as long as a couch to 5k to train him. If you run 3 times a week I would walk/run him for a…
  • Okay so first and foremost thank you for the help. I think I'm getting the hang of this weight room thing lol Although it's only been 4 weeks, I think I'm seeing a bit of improvement in my arms, now if only my stomach would get there! Anyway, I am going to keep trying at the 1650 calorie intake, which is apparently…
  • Love cereal! However, I can't hit my protein macros if I have just cereal for breakfast. So instead I have oatmeal with protein powder and greek yogurt.
  • I usually do Oatmeal. I buy Sally's Cereal Oatmeal. 1 packet for me, plus 100 grams of plain greek yogurt, 1 stevia packet and 1 scoop of protein powder. I cook the oatmeal first then I stir in the greek yogurt and protein powder. Keeps me full from 6:30 to 10:30ish. Depending on your calorie consumption (mine is only 1650…
  • I also feel that that prediction is utter crap lol Although I do tend to sabotage my weight loss goals every weekend, with deliciousness that I can't seem to resist. So maybe it's not crap and I just need some better self-control? lol
  • In case you were in need of some pop tart recipes :) https://www.poptarts.com/recipes Pumpkin are my favourite!
  • Clearly sabotaging myself on weekends. Going to stick with 1650 and see if I can't get my weekends under control. Started lifting last week (basically just played around in the weight room as I had no clue what I was doing. I started Sunday with what I think is a full body routine. Will go again today. Will post an update…
  • A butter tart! Homemade fresh from the oven, and yes it was totally worth all of the delicious calories! I made them for my brother and had to taste test ;)
  • I'm 5'7" and 134 pounds currently in a size small and a 4/5 right now. I am currently getting those comments too, although my end goal is 130 pounds. I'm not too skinny, in fact I have a bit of that skinny fat thing going on which is why I just started lifting. I do agree with the other posters that said you do what you…
  • Thanks so much will do this week and let you know what happens. I really appreciate the help!
  • This Stronglifts program looks good. Easy to follow and I am loving the videos!
  • Can't afford a trainer so alas internet and MFP are my options for advice!
  • Thanks :) It was suggested that I do the all body lifting routine and to do it on two days instead of three. This is because I already have 6-7 hours of working out a week. I used the program from bodybuilding.com
  • Thanks I think I am going to YouTube some of these lifts lol I felt like such an idiot not knowing how to do things!
  • I put the info into mfp recipe calculator because this sounded like something I would love. If the recipe makes 2 cups, a 1 cup serving is 1439 calories.
  • 0% Greek Oikos yogurt mixed with 15 grams of softened cream cheese and 1 packet of stevia and sometimes some low fat whip cream :) delicious!
  • Okay so I've logged as accurately as I possibly can all week. I stopped "grazing" and started weighing those little bits and nibbles. I notice that I think I'm too high on my carbs, especially on weekends. Also am thinking I'm pretty close to maintenance eating. I fluctuated between 134 and 135 all week (I weighed every…
  • I think the only way to measure the amount of oil accurately is to weigh the oil going in and then weigh it again when the fish is done and out. Subtract the leftover total from the original and you'll get the amount that is on the fish. Not to sure if that is a reasonable suggestion, but just a thought! If you just guess…
  • I bought the shakes because they taste so damn good, but I don't think it's really doing anything that good nutrition, exercise and a calorie deficit wouldn't accomplish. They're a glorified and very expensive protein shake, but crap they taste good! lol
  • Could I double up on another day? So say I do a warrior fitness class and weight training in the same day?
  • Thank you so much for the help, sounds very reasonable! I logged accurately last week on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday as I was attempting to get myself in the mindset of logging everything I put into my mouth so I know I can do it. Starting today anything in will be logged and weighed. The MMA is 2 to 2 1/2 hours every…
  • Thank you :) I know you both must be busy responding and thank you for taking the time!
  • If I ate everything I wanted I'd be obese instead of healthy. I did survive the pizza in the staff room and because I survived it I had 100 calories left for a delicious bar of ice cream which I thoroughly enjoyed! If it doesn't fit within your macros you shouldn't be eating it, and it didn't yesterday.
  • To make it even more torturous I am now putting pizza children's desks lol
  • I have emotional moments of binge eating, it's awful. I refuse to log it and I end up hating myself for doing it. I'll be okay all day and then I get home after work and I'm eating everything in sight. I have discovered two things. Sticking a piece of gum in my mouth helps because I can't shove food in there if there's gum…
  • I bring a protein bar or a protein shake with me to the gym and drink/eat on the way out! Helps with hunger :) I like the luna bars because they're high in iron. although they're really are better bars out there!
  • Well this is most disappointing news, the damn loaf was so delicious I wanted it to be significantly healthier than my rye bread! A tablespoon is really nothing in the grand scheme of things so I think I will return to the rye read! Thanks!
  • Thanks, I was wondering on overall general nutritional value, calories and anything else! lol
