  • When I shop I always check out the stir fry seasonings and pick up some relatively healthy options. Then you can do a quick stir fry by adding fresh or frozen veggies and any meat you have. That's my best 'goto' meal when I'm just too tired to think about it. Good Luck!

  • I've been at my goal for 3 months now and log every day. It's part of my lifestyle now.
  • Congratulations! I recently went through the same process and am now addicted to "pretty" things "underneath"!
  • I've been at my "goal" for about two months now. The 5 pounds up and down scenario is what I'm finding. I tend to eat a bit more liberally on the weekends and more structured during the week. So far, I feel good with what I've been doing. I log every day, don't stop being aware of what you are eating. Congratulations and…
  • Love this! Thanks for lightening up the day!
  • I take gummy vitamins. I've heard from my doctor that they aren't the best vitamin I could take. But, I am more apt to take them(like candy) than trying to down a pill(yuck) so I figure I'm on the positive side. I think I get most of what I need from my food, but just covering the bases.
  • Feel free to add me! I started my journey on March 13 2011, a month after knee surgery. After 14 months I made it to my goal and you can also! Best of luck to you!
  • I drank diet soda (and diet sweets) for most of my life with no issues. So, I guess I would say a pro would be to have a variety of drink type substances to add to your daily water, and a variety of treats to be able to add to your day. About a month ago I started have terrible digestive problems(would double me over with…
  • Thanks for the suggestion!
  • Salesperson saying "I'll go get you another top to try on, small, right???" SMALL!
  • I've noticed more room in the seats on an airplane(I can actually sit with my legs folded under me!), I can wear capris and not feel like my legs are logs sticking out of the bottom of them, I can wear yoga pants and not be embarrassed! The seats in the car are a bit hard on long road trips(I had to get an extra cushion)
  • You look Great! It is difficult to see the changes in ourselves. Pictures are a fabulous tool into reality! Congratulations!
  • I eat a frozen meal every day at work. The rest of the day I try and eat less processed food. It's all about balancing! Good Luck!
  • I like the K.I.S.S approach. (Keep It Simply Simple) Eat foods as close to how they are in nature as a general rule. But, don't over think it. There is no general rule that will work for everyone.

  • I've found the creamy bacon and bacon ranch are the only flavors I can take. I tried the peanut butter, the marshmallow fluf and the chocolate syrup and found them.....not so good.
  • this looks so yummy!
  • It's a new day. Don't start the day with guilt from a previous day. You've done well for a long time and will do well for a long time to come. Part of learning to make lasting change is to learn how to fit in the fun things every now and again. Best of Luck to you!
  • I've had the WII game(first one) for about a month now. Love it. After you've done it a couple of times you get the moves down. I do the ZUMBA Party! there are a couple of slightly different workouts for 25minutes and then at 45 minutes. I have taken a traditional zumba class but have "sat in " on a zumba class at a Curves…

  • I like to have a good protein breakfast. I use eggbeaters because they are lower in calories, fat and cholesterol. I've also learned to eat smaller meals all through the day. 3 meals and 3 good snacks, so I'm eating like every two hours. You should maybe double check the 1200 calorie calculation. If you are still hungry…
  • I did Nutri system for about 3 months a couple of years ago. The food is not too bad. I lost about 30 lbs while on it. But, after about 3 months I started having stomach/digestion trouble. It seemed like there was something in the food that didn't agree with me. Maybe the fat or sugar substitute? My mother did it at the…
  • I agree with all the above. Passing out could be anything from your blood sugar level to the flu or any number of things. Get to the doctor to give yourself peace of mind.
  • Just think how empowering it will be to get back on the wagon and make up for the bad two days? That's what thin people do. They have bad days and make up for it with better days. It's part of the lifestyle change we are all working for. You will be stronger and really feel better about yourself after you pick yourself up,…
  • Yeah for the internet police! What would we all do without you letting us know what is proper etiquette? This site would just go to H#$%, right? 'Cause repetition is really bad?
  • I love this app! It makes logging your food so easy! When I first started I just wanted to "keep it simple". I just ate what I knew to be a smart variety of food and kept my calorie total at or slightly below my daily limits. If I went over I got on the stationary bike or walked until I had burned off the extra calories.…

  • You look FABULOUS! These stories are one of my favorite parts of MFP. They keep the rest of us motivated! Thanks SO much for sharing!
  • I know it's frustrating, but don't give up. Keep tracking your food and doing what you can as far as exercise. It DOES work! There are so many factors that can effect the scale....salt, water intake or lack of, type of food you eat(I've found that when I eat red meat the scale slow down for a couple of days), even the way…
  • Logging your food is the best thing you can do. Exercise when you can. But, Log everything and be aware of what you eat. Good luck!
