  • This happened to me as well. Mine is densely packed with blueberries and cherries and was almost a jelly consistency this morning because I let it sit in the fridge overnight.
  • Bananas, fuji apples, quinoa, brown rice, black beans, red beans, rolled oats, and if I don't have a lot of greens, the green goodness smoothie from Bolthouse Farms.
  • Personally, I don't want children, but I would lose the weight before. Less chance of complications! Children deserve the best of their mothers. :)
  • Nothing about fruit will sabotage your weight loss! Eat all the fruit you want! Haha. I strongly suggest you check out Freelee the Banana Girl on youtube. She's kinda nuts, but she's living proof that what she does WORKS.
  • It's a great idea! I suggest checking out Freelee the Banana Girl on youtube. Be warned though, she might just blow your mind and everything you ever thought about calories and MFP out of the water. I've just recently become vegetarian, and I don't hold back. I have been buying fresh produce in bulk and eating until I feel…
  • I like halos, string cheese, trail mix (1/4 cup with just the fruit and nut kind, no m&ms or cereals haha), a spoonful of natural peanut butter, a square of 85% cocoa dark chocolate... and lots of water! Haha. Banana chips alone are pretty good, and so are yogurt covered pretzels (if you can refrain from eating the whole…
  • I wear a regular bra (padded for this reason) under a sports bra! I can't just wear a sports bra... I don't do a lot, but I DO run and do Zumba, and the boobs tend to make it more difficult for me. Just tonight I had to hold my boobs in place while jumping (I do Zumba, no real workouts haha)
  • Nope. I don't really have the desire to, to be honest. Then again, I haven't been on here long.
  • I HATE ELLIPTICALS. So if you're like me, you do too. Like everyone else is saying, gradually increase your running time and give yourself a set time for walking. C25K does that, but I personally couldn't keep up with it. I've never been a runner or athletic or anything, so I have basically just set my own pace.
  • Well, as I live in a dorm room with no access to a stove, I'm very limited. I DID, however, just make a lovely hot cocoa with a square of 85% cocoa dark chocolate and organic rice milk. Altogether 11 g of sugar (which is what I'm worried about atm) and a good amount of calories, but you won't want any more chocolate after…
  • THANK YOU. I've been saying this for years. Though I DO believe artificial sweeteners affect the body in a negative way no matter how much/little is used, I ALSO don't believe anything artificial should be consumed by humans. However, 80% (or so) of "food" produced in America contains some form of artificial ingredient (or…
  • I'm 5'6" and started at 268 January 12 this year, and I love seeing the progress! It is very inspiring, and you don't look 199 at all :) I'm also wearing a 22, but so far I feel my pants fitting looser in the waist. My butt is the same size, and it probably won't get much smaller than it is (genetics), but I'm losing fat…
  • I never sleep in a real bra! So uncomfortable haha. Sometimes I sleep in a sports bra (I have a roommate, so if I wear a tank top to bed I'd be all hanging out in the middle of the night!) But if I just wear a tee shirt to bed, no bra. None. At all. lol Age 19, 42DD
  • I didn't step on the scale for the first three weeks of diet and exercise, and after that I stepped on the scale for the first time. In two weeks since I weighed in I've dropped 8 pounds. I knew I'd gain muscle in my legs from all the cardio I was doing, and I haven't noticed any big differences in my shape, just that I've…
  • I feel like we all need some greasy food on occasion. Don't feel guilty. Just move forward. :) Unless you wanna go fully raw or vegan or something.
  • Probably a dumb question, but are you staying adequately hydrated? That may be part of the problem. The tendons and ligaments around your joints need to stay lubricated (insert giggle here). I would even suggest you drink twice as much water as normal (you'll have to pee like a race horse, but it may help solve your…
  • Lately I've been eating homemade bean-less chili topped with a scrambled egg and avocado. My husband wants to barf when I do that. ^That actually sounds really good! Haha
  • That makes me so mad. Flashback to every rude comment on my weight... Thing is, though, you're gorgeous. Doesn't look like you have an ounce on you that's not supposed to be there. I've always been the "fat girl," and I've grown tough skin because of it. Just shoot back a snarky comment next time :) Keep your chin up, and…
  • Oh my, I didn't say biscuits. I can never get enough of soft, buttery biscuits. My mouth is watering...
  • Honestly, anything that's sweet and soft or crunchy and fatty! I wouldn't be able to control myself if I actually were to buy anything slightly indulgent. Cake Cookies... samoas, oreos, chocolate chip... Nutella BREAD. ALL THE BREAD. Can haz cheezburger? No veggies, just the fatty meat and the carbs that go around it.…
  • Let your body take a break every now and then. If you work it off, no worries :) It may be better to look at your weekly calorie goal if you stay pretty well under most days. I know it makes ME feel loads better about what I've eaten ;)
  • I'm curious as well. I start week four of a 12 week running for beginners program (which is easier than c25k... sadly I couldn't keep up with c25k) on Tuesday. I'm not necessarily discouraged, but we live in a world of instant gratification, and it's odd that I don't see much of a difference. I know I'm making progress…
