Hi. I was wondering if you can give me some advice on macro splits for bulking. I just want to gain muscle now so I am increasing my calories do you do this slowly over a few weeks and what should the split be ?

I have used my garmin 610 today on a cycle ride alongside my strava app and for 36 miles the garmin said I burned 1685 cals and my strava says 1053 both of them have my weight, height in its a huge difference

Yes that's what I have been thinking . I originally started by doing slimming world and I found the more I ate the more I lost so taking a bit to get used to calorie counting

How is it inconsistent the only thing I don't log every day is my exercise

Yes I have lost around 23lb since feb 2014 I just want to tone up and gain some muscle not really sure if my macros and calories are right. I am doing a lot of cycling , sessions in the gym which include squats. Cardio and some weights and I also do a little bit of running that's why I thought I might not be eating enough…

How many calories would you suggest as I have loads left every day ? Don't want to keep wasting my time as I am trying really hard . My food diary is open

I weigh everything as I am a type 1 diabetic so carb count just find it easier to round everything off easier for me to work out .

I have changed my macros do you think this is ok now or would I need to eat more calories as not really sure on how many in total I should have

I don't know how many I should be eating it's set at around 1400 at the moment don't know if that's enough ?

I run, cycle, walk and circuit train bit of everything so that's why I thought if I had a HRM it will work out how many calories I burn for any of these activities. I currently use strava on my phone to Measure the distance and time
