I don't necessarily eat the same thing as my kids but we eat together most of the time. I'll cook say, chicken and veg for all of us and add Mac and cheese or something for the kids. I also agree with other people that the kids can help tidy up at almost any age to help you out. Crock pots are great and pre cooking for a…

Depending on where you are from, Costco sells a "super foods" salad that has kale, cabbage, chicory, brussel sprouts, pumpkin seeds and cranberries in it. It's very good!

I've cut back on my diet Coke consumption and replaced it with club soda mixed with lime juice. I'm mostly after the fizziness so it works.

My mom used to make oxtail soup - so good!

I plan to pre-plan my days and enjoy it in moderation. For example, an hour long hike will get you quite a few extra calories to play with and eating a small but protein packed breakfast and lunch will keep you full but save calories for a big dinner. Also keep portion sizes in mind when indulging - chocolate calories add…

When I was a kid I used to eat cheese whiz on Eggo waffles, also cheese whiz, pb and jam sandwiches. A friend of mine would put crunched up potatoe chips on her sandwiches. For a cheat day I love mayo on French fries. Ok, now I'm hungry....

Just thought of another one I used to make; I'd mix stevia and cinnamon in with a couple of Laughing Cow cheese wedges and serve on apple slices or whole wheat rice cakes.

Mix together 1/2 cup sugar free Jello, 1/2 cup yogurt and 1/2 cup diced fruit. Add a dollop of whip cream to the top. Experiment with different flavours/fruits. I like vanilla yogurt, strawberry Jello and raspberries. Depending on what type of yogurt and fruit you use I think this could come in at under 100 cals.

Exercise! Or save a couple hundred calories for some filing snacks in the evening :)

Last time I stopped keeping track I gained 25lbs over the course of a few years! So I think will have to if I want to keep the weight off this time around. I don't mind though, it's actually something I look forward to. There's so much great information and support here and it only takes me a few minutes per day. I even…

Been there, done that, moved on! Don't beat yourself up about it, it won't do you any good anyways! If certain foods trigger you (as sugary/carby ones do me) then stay away from them!
