My dad had it and I fear he will gain all the weight back because he's eating the same crap he ate before. But he was in so much pain afterwards...not to mention there were complications with his recovery.

This. All of this. I didn't expect my MOH or anyone to throw me a bridal shower. Some ladies that I have known almost my entire life threw it and it was awesome. I did say I didn't want games or anything over the top and they listened. If you don't want a bridal shower, then they need to respect that. What gives me pause…

That I'm actually a lot older than I look. People have guessed my age 5-10 years less than what I actually am. It's weird...plus they think my sister (who is 4 years younger than me) is older.

This. Especially if someone is complaining about how they did some juice cleanse or ultra-strict diet, lost weight, then started eating normally and gained it all back and then some.

I'd love to make it that low. I'm 5'3" and am down about 35 lbs from my heaviest. Since my restart after the wedding, I'm down about 5 lbs.

You look amazing!!!!

Same here! All the stress of planning a wedding, moving, and dealing with drama last year was bad on my overall weight loss. Back at it! Feel free to add me!

I did, but it seems to be water weight since it came off fairly easily this past week.

I was recently married (10/13/2013) and bought my dress at the end of January (it came in at the end of May). Granted, I did a lot of looking around and went to two try-ons before settling on it. I actually would have liked to wait longer to get it, but they were discontinuing the style and I didn't want to risk it. It…

I'm in the same boat as you. Feel free to add me!

I love these (and could spend my daily allotment of calories on these alone), but I agree. The milk chocolate ones are. The dark chocolate ones are MUCH better. Edited because of poor spelling... :(

Bumping so I can save for later. :)

^This. Unfortunately, either way, you're going to have to confront him on it. It don't think he's being unsupportive...I just think he's being territorial.

If I can fit it in my daily calories, I will (if in the mood for it). Wine is not something to give up. :)

I agree with everyone else. GO TO THE DOCTOR!!!! I've been through that long of bleeding before...my thyroid was all messed up, plus I was diagnosed with anemia. Still, GO TO THE DOCTOR!!!!!!!!

I really would do anything for my pet. If he was so injured that he required surgery, I'd find a way to pay for it. He is my furbaby...which is why I take care of him. He goes in for annual wellness visits, he gets his shots; if he's sick, he goes to the vet. It was my decision to do because he is a huge part of my life…

I'm sorry you got dropped! I know I try and contact those who haven't been on in a while. Feel free to add me!

It depends on where he is. Most towns have noise ordinances, but it's up to the apartment complex to enforce it. I'd say he should complain to the apartment complex first. They're usually pretty good about keeping tenants happy. Or he could talk to his upstairs neighbors about it.

You look amazing! Congrats on completing C25K and your 5K's! I am looking forward to finishing and looking as happy as you!

^^AMEN!!! Mmmm...now I want medium rare steak... While almond milk is ok (I prefer it to be the dark chocolate kind and I'm not a fan of vanilla flavored milk), I cannot stand soy milk or rice milk and can't have coconut milk.

This is an amazing story. Thank you for sharing!!!

The Groupon has been re-posted to Groupon's website. So if more people want 1/2 price race entry, go ahead! :)

I've put on some too...but I was in between sizes when I ordered and am hoping to get back down to at least my order weight before my first fitting. 83 days (for me) as of this morning. Yikes! Now all the little things start. How about y'all?

Ginger ale for me is the best soother on Fridays when I take my nausea-inducing medication. I found a zero calorie kind at Whole Foods that's sweetened with Stevia. It takes a bit to get used to the different sweet flavor, but now I can't drink other kinds of soda. (The ginger root beer is really good, too.)

Well, at home, we have it set at 78, but the thermometer in the apartment reads 74...apparently, it's a "factory setting". Whatever. At work, I have no idea. All I know is it's like working in a fridge...regardless of the season.

So many of us the same weekend! :) We're getting married in the morning at a manor house/golf club and having a brunch reception. I love brunch, hence the time. I'm hoping to lose weight between now and my first dress fitting so I can have it taken in a bit. :) Plus, I want to tone my arms (who doesn't?). But the dress…
