saving for tomorrow!

I think someone mentioned this already, but if you take some pork (I use a tenderloin), and a sliced onion and pour in a bottle of root beer (I use diet), then cook till tender, shred, and mix in some bbq sauce, it makes the most delicious pulled pork sandwiches!

On the back of the No Pudge Brownie mix package, there is a recipe for one where you mix it with yogurt (I use greek plain) and cook in the microwave. I use a mug. Like fresh warm brownies - delish! I think 120 calories per serving.

I'm on day six! I will add some of you guys a friends. Loving it so far!

Maybe she means 1700 calories? I looked at last Friday, and it was 1700. 7,000 would be quite the cheat day! OP, did you really mean 7,000??? If so, there's your problem!

I'm doing Jillian Michaels 30 day shred. It's kicking my booty, I'm so sore I can barely sit down (I'm on day four)! Plus I love that it's only 25 mintues, something I can do in the morning before everyone gets up and it's not so long I get bored.

Miss Me Big Star Lucky Brand I'm tall, and all these come in long inseams, and are really flattering!

I have never liked protein bars until I tried a Quest bar! Best bar ever. 20g protein, very low sugar, good ingredients. I get them on Amazon

Pico de gallo, hot sauce, salt and pepper. Sometimes with chopped up cucumber added. Very filling!

I'm starting tomorrow 8/11 and would love to have some 5:2 friends! I'm excited to try this way of eating. I've heard a lot of positive so far!

I found an inexpensive food scale on ebay for $10 that works great. Weighs in ounces and grams. It's really eye opening!

I agree with above poster, can you open your diary? Usually no losses is a result in overestimation of calories. Do you use a food scale? The food scale is really life changing. When I started using it, I realized for instance, what I thought was 1/2 cup of cottage cheese (in a measuring cup), when weighed out, was much…

I like you guys! I of course have to work :( But then, to my Mom's for dinner where I will eat what ever is around! Then head home and have some beers and watch the fireworks. But skydiving, hotdog bacon burgers, saving the world, and ribs sound much more exciting! And someone mentioned potato salad? Yes!
-
I love it too! My advice is to get some friends, and open your diary to them, it really helps to hold me accountable. Welcome!

Good job though with logging! I'm in 100 days and only down 10 lbs, my own fault for going crazy on weekends :) But I find a scale really helps, and it's not too much trouble to weigh stuff, you get used to doing it.
-
I'd just say really watch your measurements. Is the 1.4 Tbs. molasses in the mornings weighed? It's an odd measurement. And stuff like 4.2 chicken nuggets, and .2 of a pear. I'd have a hard time eating .2 of a chicken nugget. Just make sure you're weighing everything possible. And stick with it! It takes a long time... :)

Oh, lots of bad stuff. An entire box of stove-top stuffing in one sitting with half a cube of butter on top. 2 Wendy's Caesar salads with three orders of nuggets cut up on top of them in one sitting. With a frosty. Huge helping of pasta with butter and cheese. Entire frozen pizzas. The list goes on....

Sounds like you're willing to try calorie counting, which is great! Make sure you weigh everything to get the most accuracy. Especially high calorie stuff like avocados, oil, PB, etc... I think once you start weighing and counting, you'll see results. Good luck!

Amazing! You're beautiful! You had similar stats to me (I'm 5'9, starting at 215, now 205) and I'd I'm giving myself a year to lose 50 lbs. You're an inspiration!!

SIX LARGE onions, and only a half of head of cabbage? You may lose weight, but you'd probably lose your friends too! That's a lot of onions.
-
I think .8 a week is a good rate, I'd be happy to at least be losing each week! You're doing something right :)
-
How did you get a free box?
-
Get a food scale and weigh your food! Then you will know exactly how much you're eating and don't have to worry about "mistakes".

My advice is to give up the alcohol for awhile. I struggle with that too, especially in the summer, but I think beer really gives me a "beer belly". As for the dress, everyone is right, I think it's a cruel joke the wedding industry plays on women. I know when I got married, I was a size 10, but my wedding dress was a 16…

Really great job, you look awesome! Congratulations!!

I don't know if this would help, but you could try pre-tracking. I put my plan for the day, including the evening in early, then once I hit that "entry complete" button, I'm more likely to stick with what I tracked...

Counting out ten almonds would make me very sad and very hungry. Lately I've been getting a McDonald's ice cream cone if I'm out and about for a snack. 170 calories and surprisingly filling. Fits into my calories and macros.
