I see the article pointed out obssessed dieters. There is a difference. I am not so consumed with what I eat that it interferes with my thought processes. Total rubbish.

That is the most difficult area for me and I have reached a weight where I am happy. I found that when I cut my sugar and simple carbs, it helped trim away the lower belly fat. However, my trainer said that unfortunately, since I've had children, it is going to take a lot of discipline with a strict diet to make it…

I never take my purse, wallet, pretty much anything valuable into the gym. I'm sure that your gym, as most others, post that they are not responsible for any lost or stolen items. I would definitely move on. It isn't the gym's fault that it happened. It could have happened at a restaurant, grocery store or movie theater.…

I completely agree. Most of us had to start somewhere. In my case, my first job paid $4.25/hr. I have bust my *kitten* to get where I am today and don't regret all of the hard work and sacrifice it took me to get there.

I completely agree!

The only person you can control is "you". Yes, it would be FANTASTIC if he were onboard with you but, he's not. I have to deal with similar issues with my husband, however, he is very supportive of my healthy lifestyle and will even try his best not to bring junk food in the house. As for not being able to talk about work…

I am annoyed standing behind a customer who is talking on his or her phone at the cash register. It delays the transaction process and I frankly don't care to hear about their personal business while I'm trying to get through the line because I don't have all day to wait for some rude *kitten* to act like they are that…

I think your idea of "normal" could be tweeked. I eat complex carbs and lean protein that keeps me full until my next meal. I also drink lots of water. It's all about pre-planning and having willpower. A 900 calorie meal is not my idea of a "normal" meal but, to each its own...I guess. *Shrug

I am so happy to see the progress you have made and the consistency in your work. Your inspiring and motivating words each day is what helps me stay on my journey. I know you will make this a lifestyle and not just a phase. Happy belated 2 year anniversary!! (Big Hug)

Why do so many people not know the proper usage of "effect" vs "affect"?

I have learned that what I eat makes a huge difference in my appetite. Also, you may be thirsty and need to drink more water. Lastly, have you considered doing less cardio and more weights?

....to get rid of my stubborn pregnancy pouch. :ohwell:
-
WOW!! Kudos to you for keeping it off for 2 years!

If you are just starting a weights regimen, using the machines will help you use the proper form until you are more confident. Otherwise, more free weights than machines will give you the best results.
