No, I wouldn't.
If you're stupid, it just isn't going to work out.0 -
I married a cheerleader..... Nuff said.0

I have before - it didn't work out. After a while it gets embarrassing and annoying.0
-
No. It would be extremely boring. I stopped dating an ex-navy firefighter with an AMAZING body in college for this reason alone.0

Ideally... and laid back and funny.0

If they can't keep up on the mental playing field they are for "entertainment purposes only."
Engaging conversation and mental stimulation is a requirement of any real relationship.0 -
I have to, or I wouldn't date...0
-
Hell no. I love intelligent brains.0

I wouldn't date someone that I couldn't have an intelligent conversation with.
Intelligence is hot.

Casually date? Sure. Serious relationship/marriage? Absolutely not.0

Hook up or maybe even very short term date? yes. serious re;ationship? No way. I would be bored/frustrated with conversation and activities within days. You need someone who you can stand to be with the 22 hours a day you are not having sex. :devil:0

How "considerably" are we talking about here? I'd like to believe that I'm not too hung up on the whole "who's smarter?" concept these days, but the line must be drawn somewhere.
For example, I knew a girl who once got excited about a kitten, realized that it was male, and actually said "I thought only male cats could have male kittens."
She wasn't joking.0 -
My iq is 52, if I dated anyone less intelligent it would be like not goods. Also Im married so she might have a problem with that.

If she is cute and cooks then she is golden.
brb, rather date someone fun than discuss politics.0 -
Date? Maybe.
Bang? Yes.
Marry? No.0 -
For a fun fling, it is fine as long as they are hot as he!!
For anything worthwhile, not even close.0 -
I can't even hook up with someone less intelligent. BORING.
I have this problem, too. Ugh.0 -
No, but I am far more concerned with common sense and life skills than book smart. Someone can be highly educated but still not terribly intelligent.0

I think it really depends. Obviously, if they're not into the same things as I am, they may not know as much about them as I do. I don't have a problem with that. What I do have a problem with is when I tell a guy that he is mediocre and I have to explain what "mediocre" means. No bueno.0
