Calorie counting is also a way of starving yourself. Starving from food is how you get your body to use fat stores for energy. Its only a problem if you have a distorted body image or develop nutritional deficiencies from poor choices.

Eggs, English muffins, Ezekiel bread, single serving Greek yogurt, baby carrots, bananas, oatmeal, almond butter, taquitos from Trader Joe's, salsa, high fiber wraps, cheese sticks

I gained 60lbs during my pregnancy! Lost 40 since giving birth 6 months ago. I'm definitely ready to shed the last 20lbs (or maybe 30) for summer. We can make it happen. Just gotta take it day by day.

I like to put peanut butter and jelly to make a sandwich. If you wrap them up and leave them in the fridge overnight, it helps soften the crackers.

I am a vegetarian. I eat a lot of organic eggs, organic yogurt/cottage cheese, beans, nuts, lentils, chickpeas and tofu for protein. Feel free to add me :)

Add me! I'm a vegetarian, also looking to lose 5-10 lbs. It's tough to stay motivated when it's just a little bit left...

I love Trader Joe's! My favorite things to buy include: Ezekiel Bread, Black Bean & Cheese Taquitos (in the frozen section), organic shredded cheese, Thai vegetable dumplings (also frozen), General Tso's sauce (for making stir frys) and lots of fruits and veggies of course. I think Trader Joes is very reasonable.

I am a HUGE FAN of Jillian Michael's workout DVDs. They're usually only about 25 minutes and she incorporates weight training with cardio. Definitely a good use of your time if you're trying to tone up.

Absolutely! Its really tough to stay motivated when Spring never seems to get here. I recently converted my desk at work to a standing desk to help burn extra calories and make up for lost time at the gym. This actually calculated out to quite a few extra calories burned per week. You can read details about the…
