  • Zumba I'm at the SAME spot, its frustrating but I can see the changes in my shape, even if the pounds aren't coming off yet. I've been between 168-170 since the beginning of february. Keep it up I can tell I'll get through it soon! So will you!

  • Thank you for continuing the challenge! I don't know if I will hit my goal for easter, but like Walking Woman said I have hit LOTS of other personal goals and have changed many habits such as -I am taking at least 4 fitness classes every week (I have never done structured exercise , aside from some running a few years ago…
  • That's great! THANKS for sharing!
  • Start weight 179 Goal Weight 159 3/1 Weigh in 170.5 I'm a little disappointed that I'm not 1/2 way but I know I can reach my goal by easter. I know why my progress has slowed (eating out!!!) So enough of that! Staying on the wagon from here on out!
  • WOW that's awesome!!! GREAT work everyone!!!!
  • wow! HELLO jawline! Congrats!
  • are you getting enough water? I have found if I can get a full gallon down every other day for a few days it seems to help me get over the plateaus. I wasn't a big water drinker but it worked for me. Now I get at least 8 glasses a day and try to get a full gallon in a few times a week.

  • Great Job Kay! Let us know how it goes!!! I'd be pretty terrified!!! I joined the gym and have managed to make it through a Hydrofit class, a yoga class (I have done this in the past) as well as my first Spin Class tonight!!!! My goal is to get to 3 or 4 classes every week
  • The good thing about a lifestyle change is that if you make a mistake, you can get right back on track, no sense dwelling! This is going to be a GREAT week :-))
  • That sounds like a brilliant Idea!!!
  • Tonight I'm making baked chicken breasts this is my favorite recipe - I am going to make eight or ten chicken breasts and then make the following casseroles with the leftovers and freeze them - Baked chicken. https://dashingdish.com/recipe/the-worlds-best-baked-chicken/ Tex mex casserole.…
  • Okay so I just downloaded the Pacer app for my iPhone, does anyone else use this? I have an interesting situation because I ride horses for a living and I tend to have my phone in my pocket. I teach riding lessons and while I am teaching I am usually walking around the riding area, just for comparative reasons I left my…
  • My Dogs are happier because I'm walking them every day!
  • 1/1 179 1/8 174.5 1/16 175.5 1/22 173.5 5.5 total lbs lost! Good work everyone! I had a small set back on the weigh in last week ( lost some ground over a fun weekend away ) But I've been behaving this week and I'm back to working my way DOWN again!
  • Start Weight on Jan 1 - 179 - Current Weight Jan 8 - 174.5 4.5 LBS IN THE FIRST WEEK!!! (shows how bad i had been before I started tracking!!!) Hard works paying off! I'm happy and super motivated, my 2015 goal is to log EVERYTHING i eat and this weekend will be the first time it gets tough - were going away to the beach,…
  • While it's good to log your eating and exercise at the end of the day, at that point it's all after-the-fact, the damage has already been done. That is SO True. I find entering early really helps me stay on track as well, its a great motivator for me to stay on track and I am FAR less likely to find myself staring into the…
  • Plan ahead! Know where your challenges are, I am heading for a long weekend with the hubby and friends, I am planning on doing some of the cooking while we are away to make logging easier, I will be eating simple foods so I can be as accurate as possible, and I will be as ACTIVE as I can be (were at the beach!) so I won't…

  • I love this idea, I would love to get a fit bit so i can track steps, but I want to prove to myself that I am on track first, so once I get the first 5 LBS off maybe a Fit bit will be my reward!!
  • Current and Starting Weight for Challenge : 179 Goal Weight for Easter : 159 Ultimate Goal Weight : 135 I'm going to update my MFP goals, I have been off the wagon for much too long, my main goal for 2015 is to LOG ALL OF MY FOOD, even if I don't make it on MFP everyday, I will keep a journal with me so that I can catch up…

  • Check out the beck diet solution it's a great book that will help you with cognitive therapy on how to deal with those times. It changed my relationship with food. Occasionally I do resort back to binging, but the book gave me the tools to deal with the situations. As well as how to get myself out of that behavior and…
  • Stuff with steamed broccoli and garlic and gruyere and bake! You can YouTube how to stuff a chicken breast for a good technique
  • C25K is a great program for anyone and running is free (that's what got me hooked) Its not easy to get started but you will find yourself looking forward to it and GLAD you did it EVERYTIME you fight the urge to say " I don't feel like it today" As for the food, learn to cook, experiment with things you like and add things…
  • I feel your pain and I took control back over just last Sunday. The first time I dropped 50 lbs (220-170) I had read the book the beck diet solution, it was totally life changing, check it out. It is a cognitive therapy program to help you think differently about food. After the program I dropped down to 142 in 2011, just…
