Duh, naturally. I should have thought it out first. :P

How does one track their macros with airing?
-
Uh, you had me until Texas Toast...everyone knows you can't juice Texas Toast. *eye roll*
-
Understood...but what's your stance on people who know it all?
-
Day 1 - 50 squats down.

Great progress - your dedication has paid off!

Some friends and I on here have vowed to give up the scale for one month - we weighed in for the last time yesterday and won't weigh in again until March 31st. I think everyone gets caught up in the numbers and it's a good idea to take a step back - even if you have to force yourself - and start tracking your progress on…

Keep doing what you're doing and lead by example. None of us starts this journey until we're ready so although it's disappointing for you, keep in mind you started in your own time, too. The best thing you can do is work on yourself and make it a positive experience - he'll get on board sooner or later.

I'll try this - love a good challenge!

If you're done, you're done. I'm in the same boat but I won't eat just for the sake of eating or for the sake of numbers. Of course I'd plan a little better for tomorrow but one day at more than 1,300 calories certainly won't have any long term detriment.

What a great success story! Your progress is awesome!
-
Oh, don't give up! You probably just need to make a few minor adjustments to get back on track. I just upped my calories due to the advice of In Place of a Road Map and the science and proof is there to succeed, so I don't think this is what's thwarting your weight loss. How many calories per day do you take in?
-
Lol - not sure what the real issue is here. Buy what fits and don't get hung up on the tag inside!
-
Even though you have a desk job, you are active with your runs/workouts so I would change your activity level. This, in turn, will prompt an increase in your daily caloric intake. I think you're eating way too low, for your activity level and for your weight. You should try upping your calories and see what happens.

Have you seen a doctor? There could be so many health-related issues that could be holding you back - Thyroid, PCOS, insulin resistance, etc. I would say if you've had a check up and received a clean bill of health, you may want to lower your sugar intake and for a while, that may include fruit, too. I did take a peek at…

Wow, I don't even know where to begin except to say to you as a group that it's nice to hear that others have struggled but also overcome the same frustrations. I never wanted to quit because I worked hard (as we all have) to get to this point, progress-wise but I think I've really had a difficult time facing the long…

I think you should completely cease with the pills and get yourself on a healthy track. You've proven that the pills were good for nothing more than a very short-term fix, so you should really take that option off the table, entirely. Plus, they can't be good for your metabolism. Don't give up though! You're meant to have…

Thanks to all of you for taking the time to comment...supportive words like that really do make a difference. If any of you want to add me, please feel free. I like getting ideas from other's food diaries and exchanging words of encouragement!

I'm having a difficult time staying motivated lately, as well. Not to the point of giving up, but definitely finding it harder to stay focused. Maybe it's the weather...maybe I need to mix things up a bit. I read where one person suggested creating smaller goals and I agree wholeheartedly with that, for everyone.
-
Amazing progress!
-
You look like an entirely different person!
-
Uhh, what? Yeah, sounds like he's depressed and unmotivated and unless you want to be depressed too, I'm not sure what you're doing there. You wrote this long complaint...sounds like you already know what you should do.
-
Good for you - you seem to be in the right mindset to achieve success!
-
Know what you mean when you say 5 lbs can look like 20.
-
Erin!!! <3 Thank you! Did you see I had my husband take my scale away for a month?! LOL I saw that and I'm very proud of you and that decision - it takes guts to push forward without the constant weigh-ins to validate your efforts. 57 lbs down - you on obviously know what works and you don't need the scale to determine if…

You really inspire me - I'm non-stop impressed with your daily commitment and success!

Yes, when I look in the mirror, I think I look okay...but if I see myself in pictures, omg. Big difference in perception.

I find it confusing as well so I always err on the side of "lightly active". I have a desk job but I also work out 7 days per week. So technically, wouldn't that make me qualify for "Little or no exercise" AND "Heavy Exercise"? It's all just labels - work out and don't worry about it. If you go with lightly active, you…

Congratulations on your success - your progress is super inspiring!
