I actually have tried to incorporate a once monthly "detox" where I just eat raw food, egg whites, oatmeal etc etc one or two days but maybe doing that weekly might be better. I'll try that...and yes I may need some more variety in my exercising! Thanks :)

I agree with the comment about it being an emotional rollercoaster but it's made me so much better mentally as well. AND ALSO....my car is more comfortable lol I drive a small suv. So far I've lost 50 pounds and I've noticed that I don't have to "scooch" my butt over anymore when I fasted my seatbelt. haha

It's not that it weighs more it just takes up less space...so true a pound of muscle and a pound of fat weigh the same thing but the muscle takes up less space. If you notice that you're getting smaller then that could be the case...you could be losing fat but increasing muscle.

yes actually there is a slight difference in the waist area right above the belly button....but it's also on how your clothes feel too...and don't forget to measure yourself every week....in the past 3 weeks i've gained 3 lbs but have lost exactly 3 inches from my waist lol so if those inches are coming off rest assured…

you should really be eating at least 1200 calories/day...anything less than that and your body will start to starve and hold on to weight...too may people are afraid to eat but truth is u must fuel the fire or it will burn out..good luck

this is true...maybe if you ate a more balanced diet your metabolism would be shocked and kick into gear...not lecturing,though just saying... (but be prepared to be lectured whenever you post on this site...it's just other people who are trying to achieve a goal and want you to do well)

i try not to weigh a few days before and on the first few days during because that's when i'm the most bloated...but like someone else said it depends on your body...
