Struggling to get back on track

Since March 26,2015 I've lost about 60 pounds...I've been at a bit of a stand still for a month now and I know why....I'm eating more, having more cheats and not exercising as much as I used to partly because I just don't feel as motivated anymore. I'm nowhere near a healthy weight. I'm a 911 operator and also have a 13 year old son who's a whole 'nother story so I know that stress plays a big role but I've lost so much so far and I'm wondering why I can't seem to get the motivation back. I've done low carb and carb cycling throughout my journey and it works perfectly especially when my carbs are on the lower end but I just feel stuck like I can't jump back on the wagon. Any suggestions? Thanks

Maybe starting with a little challenge for yourself, once or twice a week? To get your interest back in. I did meat free Mondays and tried to make it interesting enough for my family to eat. It just made me more interested and conscious in what I was eating and my dad would always be asking what id be making next time. I also tried to walk down a different road each week so I had something new to see while exercising. Good luck!0

Trying finding a goal you can work toward that isn't weight related. Drag your son to a race or a crazy hiking trip or do some dancing with your girls. You've done awesome so far, but sometimes when we've already done so much it can get really easy to rest on your laurels. You just need a new reason to care.0

That makes so much sense, I'll be using those suggestions SOON lol thank you0 -

I actually have tried to incorporate a once monthly "detox" where I just eat raw food, egg whites, oatmeal etc etc one or two days but maybe doing that weekly might be better. I'll try that...and yes I may need some more variety in my exercising! Thanks0 -

Do you dislike weighing and logging your food? What does feeling stuck mean? What part are you stuck on?
What are you eating now that is different from your "perfect" eating plan?0 -
60 pounds is awesome.
Rather than 'cheats' why not eat at maintenance for a while until you get going again? That way, you won't destroy your past efforts.
I took a one week vacation from my deficit eating and ate at maintenance, after a week, I was ready to go back, don't know what caused the increased hunger that week.
As far as motivation, that comes from within, but maybe doing some neat new exercise might help get everything started again?0 -

Hi, I never said my eating plan was perfect. Just that it worked perfectly for me0 -

Hmmm I never thought of it at way and that actually makes more sense than just falling completely off....I'm kinda getting back into the low carb groove but I'm still under a lot of stress so maybe eating at maintenance and still incorporating my healthy stuff will help a lot. And yes I'm working on getting some new exercises together to try, thanks so much0 -

Fake it until you make it! I recommitted by telling myself that I would just begin consistently logging again. It didn't matter what the day looked like, I was just going to log every single day for a week, then two... I was completely off the rails for months prior to that point.0 -

For those who crave punctuation:
Listen, you must obviously not want this lifestyle as much as you want to eat pizza. If you want something as much as you want to breathe, then you'll get it. You just need to really want to be lean. Learn some discipline, and learn to say no. Start off slow. If you want something, go get it. Work for it with a zero excuse limit. That is my motivation.
