1lb a week is very healthy but i understand where you're coming from because i like to see those 2lb weeks myself....maybe you should try a multivitamin for women that also boosts metabolism...add resistance to your workouts once or twice a week...like walking up hill or walking with ankle weights or hand weights...of course muscle is leaner but it weighs more so don't be alarmed if you gain a pound or 2 in the beginning...keep track of your measurements so that you'll know that you're also losing inches. but in the long run lean muscle mass increases fat burn so that would be a very good way to increase metabolism...try a protein shake once a day (preferably right after you workout)...special k is a pretty good one that won't bulk you up and also the Jillian MIchaels brand....good luck! :-)
  • I'll keep all your tips in mind..thank you so much ! Right now am only doing an hour of aerobics in the morning, a little weight lifting 4 pounder dumbells just to tone the arms (abt 10-15 max ) and moderate paced walking during evenings..I had struggled with my weight since 4 yrs ago when i had my youngest daughter..It just feel so good to lose some pounds knowing that somehow you're gonna get to your goal of lowering your dress sizes pretty soon..the only supplement am taking right now is the L-carnitine..but am gonna take your word on the multi-vitamins and protein shake..hope it works out on me..thanks a lot !!

glad i could help :-) sounds like your on a pretty good routine there though...and YES it does feel good to know that you're doing something to make your body shrink lol...it feels like magic when you step on the scale and see the numbers decrease! :-)
