If you like cold oatmeal like I do, you would LOVE this Refrigerator Oatmeal recipes that I found. You can make it the night before and just grab & go the next morning. I use natural chunky applesauce in mine or sometimes I just slice up some bananas. Yum-O. Currently, I'm using ground flaxseed instead of the chia seeds…

I think I have more than 3 confessions....Sorry. 1. I wish I had a better paying job. 2. I often prefer to be alone then be "out and about". 3. I don't think I want to be married.....or have kids. Sometimes, I feel the whole idea is overrated and antiquated. 4. Daydream too much. 5. Some of my coworkers annoy the hell out…

You are a TRUE inspiration. I'm genuinely happy for you. WTG! Good luck on your Marathon!

OH, I TOTALLY AGREE. I cringe at some of the posts people put on here freaking out about eating this or that. I've lost 71 pounds and don't feel the least bit deprived of my "comfort foods". Last night, I ate pizza and I loved every bite. Didn't feel the least bit guilty about it because I feel I need to allow myself those…

Yeah, I've learned with DVD workouts an HRM is a must. For a while I was in denial of buying one but I bought one last May and haven't regretted my purchase since. It encourages you to work harder and smarter. Now, you don't have to drop $300+ on an HRM. I bought my Polar FT4 at target for $99.99. It's one of the best…

I totally agree with everyone about the carbs. You should definitely incorporate more protein and fiber helps you keep full for a longer amount of time. Try to load up on veggies, fresh frutis, greek yogurt, beans, etc. I see that you use SkinnyTaste. She has really awesome crockpot bean recipes. Sidenote: Beware of those…

You are very welcome and good luck on your progress!

I'm going through that same issue too at the moment. I've changed my lifestyle completely. A year ago, I was going out Tues., Thurs., Fri., AND Sat, eating unhealthy foods and consuming lots of alcohol. Nowadays, it just doesn't appeal to me to be at the bar 3-5 days out of the week and going out during the week IS TOTALLY…

We're in the same boat, girlie. Sometimes, I feel my friends don't understand my commitment to my Weight Loss Journey and that some things I used to do, I don't do anymore. Or simply, I feel they don't understand what its like to be in my shoes. Feel free to add me as a friend. Good luck to you and keep your head up!

Okay, I just thought it was my job. Yes, the ladies room at my job is DISGUSTING. Its sad that these are grown *kitten* women that can't clean after themselves or have enough courtesy for the next woman that uses the stall. Some people, in general, at my job has no sense of cleanliness or hygiene for that matter. This is…

OH WOW! This website is amazing. Can't wait to make my menu for next week.

You're already on the right track because greek yogurt and fruit is a great idea. You can also spread some peanut butter on a slice of whole wheat toast., it's packed with protein. You can even add a slice of banana. Yum-O. Whey protein is a really good choice as well.

Ditto.

I have considered it but, I'm really not a morning person, per se. It would be hard to get up that early to do it. I could try it out though.

Girl, I can't plan what to eat for a whole month either. Start small, plan a weekly menu. I've learned that if I plan what I'm going to eat for the week, it helps knowing EXACTLY what I'm going to eat, it makes me more accountable, and once you break down the ingredients of your meals/snacks, there you have your grocery…

::raises hand:: Oh, me me!!! It's sooo hard to quit smoking right now. Yes, I workout and while I'm huffing and puffing through my workouts I can't help but think, "I need to QUIT SMOKING"". But i light up afterwards, sad I know. I'm gonna talk to my doc about getting prescribed Chantix.

"Your Smile" by Justin Beiber ::hangs head in shame: The good thing is it's the only JB song I have. ::wipes forehead:: Whew! I've actually been tempted to download some of GaGa's songs. Still contemplating that one...
