Napping Before Workouts: Your thoughts?
Hey MFP, on my days off I can bang out a exceptional workout, even double my workout time. However, during the week I tire out very easily during my workouts. I figure that it has alot to do with me being at work 8 hours daily. I was thinking, could a 20 min power nap help me with energy/endurance during my workouts for me…

"I want to lose weight so I can...."
In this weight loss journey, I have certain aspirations that I would like to accomplish. For as long as I can remember, I've felt that I'm not living the life I'm destined to live and being the person I'm destined to be. It's crazy how much being overweight, obese, whatever you wanna call it, hinder your life. What are…

Size of the Polar FT4 Wearlink
I'm strongly considering buying the Polar FT4 this weekend. I have a few concerns.... 1. This may be a dumb question: Is it mandatory that I wear the wearlink everytime I workout for the watch to work? 2. I'm a big girl. How big is the wearlink? I would really appreciate everyone's feedback. Thanks

Did I really burn that many calories???
Today, was my at home workout. I ended up doing about 25 minutes of the Cardio Excercise on the Liverexercise.com website. I admit I was doing it at a slow pace, since it my first cardio workout in a while. I usually do the treadmill at the gym. Most of my reps was between 5 to 10 and I was sweating quite a bit (my clothes…

WTH! Only ate half of my target calories.... Help.
I usually eat every 2 to 2 and a half hours, breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner (I haven't ate dinner yet today). I plan my meals out weekly and portion control very closely. Through out the day, I'm not constantly hungry and sometimes I have to make myself eat to use calories. My food choices are healthy and filling.…

p90x Workouts - Calories Burned
Right now, I don't own a heart monitor that calculates calories for me. How would I calculate the calories I burned during one of my p90x workouts? It's not listed in the database and I would like to log it in my Exercise Diary. Thanks for any feedback.

For Texans: Has Anyone Tried MyFitFoods?
A few weeks ago, I tried MyFitFoods. It's a pre-prepared food service specializing in healthy, low and/or healthy carb, portion-controlled meals . The food is made daily and you can drop in a pick up your meals because they have large refrigerators. They have breakfast, lunch, and dinner. To my surprise, the food was…

Enough if enough! I'm starting my journey to a healthier, happier me for real this time. No more second guessing myself and then kicking myself in the butt later when I'm out on a Saturday night and can't enjoy myself because of how I feel about myself physically and emotionally. I owe it to myself to REALLY live my life.…
