Try lying triceps extensions with an EZ curl bar. Rippetoe recommends them in Starting Strength for strengthening the triceps.

It seems to me that you need to prioritize your goals and then prioritize your methods of getting there. SL 5x5 should not be taking over an hour, but if you want to drop it down to 3x5, it is not going to have that big of an effect if you keep the intensity up. Do not worry, over head pressing becomes the nemesis for most everybody. Did you entirely fail to get a weight, or was it missed reps. If this was a first time occurrence try it again next session. Squats and deadlifts will give you more pronounced stomach muscles, but a flat stomach is going to come from your diet more than anything. If squats and deads were the be all for a flat stomach you would not see so many power lifters sporting a gut.
