Opt for the corn on the cob and a side salad, or pile up with all the veggies you can find. Better yet bring a dish to share that way you know there is absolutely something you can eat.

Polar HRM are rated the best. Sometimes you have to pay a pretty penny for them but it's totally worth it.

I've become Vegan last September ( trying it out to see if it would make me feel better) Now i'm feeling like i'm not getting enough protein :grumble: has anyone tried the 22 days protein bars?

Sounds awesome! Since you're doing this at home you should try doing body weight exercises in between cardio ( Push ups, squats, etc.) The more you add the muscle building the more fat you burn.
