^^^^CHUUUURRRCHHHH!!!^^^^ OAN....the advice in this thread is so horribly conflicting, that if the poor girl had a chance, most of you pretty much ruined it. LMAO...especially at the poster that thinks that anyone that is LIVING can make their metabolic rate ZERO. Okay.

I finished Insanity this past Saturday. Will post my pics when I figure out what the heck I'm doing. Lol

Well, your mileage may vary, but I have found that there is waaaaay too much jumping around and quick-changing from standing to plank for me to have a full stomach. Now that being said, I was HORRIBLY out of shape when I began, and that's probably the real reason why I had stomach issues on the first day. It could have…

Tomorrow makes day 51 of my first round of Insanity for me. I gotta say....I made the mistake of eating a "light" meal before my first fit test and I almost threw up. It was horrendous. Needless to say, I kept with it, careful to do it on an EMPTY stomach (lol) and I have done much better. So far, I've lost only 7 pounds…

You hit the nail on its proverbial head. Lack of motivation is perhaps what I am dealing with right now...and not only in my exercise/nutritional life...but also in other areas. I am just terribly sluggish these days. I used to look forward to going outside and exercising. As far as doing crunches because I'm bored, I have…

YEAH!! All of this! LOL! I saw a guy at Gold's one time slap himself repeatedly in the chest and make growling noises before he did a lift. I think he wore himself out with all the preparatory antics....not to mention, his friends were amping up the situation because they were slapping him in the chest and making those…

Ten pounds DOES make a difference! You look great! :)

Type A much? Geez! At the end of the day, there is good info and bad info. There is good research and bad research. If you don't like it, then keep it moving. If you are interested, cool. Keep reading. Some people act as if their living is made on criticizing and piecing apart folks' individual research. There is nothing…

I'm thinking just the opposite...usually if you have more to lose, you're allowed more to eat anyway, because the larger your are, the higher your net goal. So I could easily see a cheat day for a larger person with more to lose and a cheat meal with someone who has less to lose. I mean, if you HAVE to cheat. :) I just set…

I have been diagnosed, but my gynecologist just wants to put me on birth control pills. I'm in the process of switching internists, so perhaps we can get somewhere that way. In the last couple of weeks, I have really been watching my carb intake....and after a couple of months of no results despite my fairly frequent and…

DAMN GIRL!!!! I mean......GOOD JOB! Hammercy!

I like to let my boobs tickle my ribs at night. Hence, no bra.

I work 12 hour nights. So I do it whenever the time/mood hits me. For instance, in honor of the Superbowl, I partook of 3 Heineken Lites. As soon as the Bowl goes off, I'm gonna dance to Zumba on XBOX Kinect and burn the beer off. :)
-
My thoughts exactly. This happened tonight. It wasn't a "horrible" day (my horrible days are like, 1000 over) but I was 227 over...so before midnight I know to do a lil Zumba on the XBOX after the Superbowl goes off. It makes me more conscious of where I am vs. where I need to be.

I don't trust a burger joint that EVER did it to begin with. This mess has made me swear off of fast food altogether.

I just wanna say this...as a person who has started/restarted C25K due to horrible scheduling conflicts, and a person who has only done up to W1 D3, I admire those of you that can run 5 whole minutes at a time. That seems like a lot to me. Heck...I'm thanking God for the end of the 60 second runs! Were any on you Week 4…

This thread is sweet. I'm about to request friendship from ALL of ya. Need some nightowls to hang out with.

I'm a night shift RN working right now as well.......and I had just posted in my newsfeed here that I always eat too much at work. Boooooo....Not to mention I left my snack bag at the house. Sigh.

This negates everything I heard about being flat footed, because I very much am. So....if flat footed folks overpronate, doesn't that wreak havoc on folks like me with flat feet that get shin splints? Educate a sista...
